    • Great traction be nice if tge lasted longer
These came on a bike I bought. They were great tires for traction. Not sure that they last real long because they are a softer tire. I think I put about 2500 miles on them. I believe they were not very old. Traction was awesome took some long sweeping turns at 100mph with no issues alone and with a passenger. My FJR will break the tires loose if I take off too quick while turning but I only had back tire slip out a little when hard corning on damp pavement. I was pushing it a little hard so it wasn't totally unexpected or unmanageable. I have launched off the line hard a couple times and these tires grab pretty good lifting the tire 5-6 and these stuck like glue to the pavement. Overall they have excellent traction. I took these up to 130mph many times and as high as 155mph a couple times they were solid performing tires. The belts start to show on a very hot summer road trip so I ended up having to get whatever the guy had in shop. S23's are great tires just felt like they should have lasted a little longer. Sounds like I'm a maniac rider but most of my riding is pretty casual. I bought a fast bike to go fast sometimes so sometimes I do just that and these tires competently handled everything I threw at them. ... show more
