This hair spray works great for me. Not only does it hold my hair in way that is not overwhelming, but it seems to add a little body to the hair and a subtle not shiny texture. Doesn't smell like chemicals. Dries fairly quickly and I can then further adjust the hair so it's a little looser, while still maintaining shape and hold. I use this in conjunction with a little gel, then apply the spray. I was using the Dry Look hairspray for years, but now Brickell Men's Texturizing Sea Salt Spray has become my goto for the foreseeable future.

One of the things that I liked about the Sea Salt Spray is that it is light and doesn’t make my hair feel tacky or sticky like a lot of other products I have tried in the past. There is not much of a scent to it which is nice compared to aerosols. It did provide some volume to my hair that I could feel throughout the day but did not provide an all-day hold (8 hours) for any sort of style unless I reapplied it about half-way through. After the second application though it did seem to have a bit more volume and hold. My hair is pretty fine though (not thinning at all), and I do normally keep it on the shorter side (about 1 ½ -2 inches on top usually). I tried it both with wet dry hair and had pretty much the same results. It is nice to be able to spray it in rub you hand through your hair to work it in, with no greasy feel or residue left on the hands. I was hoping that it would give me the look of just getting done with a day of surfing but wasn't so lucky (I did have a lot longer hair in my surf days). Overall, I do like it but I think this is a better product for someone who probably has a bit longer and not so fine hair. I will have to experiment some more with it as my hair grows out.
