It’s not hard and sticky, like other products I have tried. My hair feels soft but stays the way I style it. This is my 1st time purchasing this hair gel, but I have bought other Brickell products (all of which have been great) in the past. I needed this product for a trip, and the size was perfect! This gel was perfect in terms of medium hold, and almost no shine (just as advertised), and it had a great smell. It was far better than the Paul Mitchell Man's line (called 'Mitch'). I'm transitioning all of my grooming products to Brickell - everything I've used has been flawless & my new go-to's.

I was looking for a more natural upgrade to my American Crew gel which I’ve used for ages and I’ve been pretty happy with. Brickell’s gel, is organic, holds very well, drys softer, and smells better. It’s clearly a premium formulation and doesn’t resemble typical alcohol-based gels. I particularly like that it lasts long and is easily reactivated with water. My head never feels like it was shellacked. No flakes or residue either. Although the price is a little high, I think it’s worth the investment. While most gels look and perform similarly, this one is clearly different. A little goes a long way and I expect a tube will last me a long while. I’m very happy with it so far and will update if that changes.

It has pretty good light hold which i like compared to those other gels that have a very hard stiff flaky hold. Knowing the ingredients are natural makes it better. Only thing I'm not too crazy about is the smell but it's because it's natural ingredients but the smell is not a deal breaker. Overall it's a pretty good hair gel. I use it for a quick light hold for my hair which gets in my face.
