I LOVE this light fixture. I have a smaller townhouse and it’s not too big for my dining area. I used a dimmer switch with Edison bulbs and it looks gorgeous. I’d been looking for a fixture like this and am glad I bought it. I’ve gotten so many compliments on this light and it makes my home look so good. I hired a handyman to install it and working with an electrician it still took them about an hour to install it. It arrives with very poor instructions and takes some time to figure out how to install. Also, the chains used to suspend the lamp don't have removable links, so you would actually have to bend the links apart to use them and then bend them back together again and try to do that without scratching up the paint on them. That said, once the light is installed it is very attractive and a significant upgrade over the track lighting I used to have in the kitchen. I should mention that since the new light bulbs are omnidirectional and the track light that was there previously allowed you to place spotlights on all the kitchen surfaces you are probably going to have to go up a step in lighting power. I was using 300W of halogens originally, so I replaced the light with 5 x 60 W equivalent LED bulbs but the kitchen was too dark. The photo was taken after I replaced the bulbs with 5 x 100 W equivalent LED bulbs and the lighting was much better. The bulbs I used were: 100W Equivalent Filament Edison Bulbs Clear Glass, Dimmable LED Light Bulbs, 10W A21 Vintage LED Blubs 2700K Warm White, Medium Screw Base (E26), 1100 Lumens, 6-Pack ... show more

We absolutely love this light fixture. It came well-packaged, and is surprisingly lightweight, so it was easy to install (did it solo!) and looks great! We put this over the site where an ugly ceiling fan previously was, and it makes a huge difference both from an appearance and brightness perspective! Also, other reviewers have mentioned this, but the fixture is all metal with painted accents that lol similar to wood. There are no wood accents (which I was disappointed about but it still looks way nice than the dated ceiling fan that used to be there!) Installation: I am not a contractor or electrician, but consider myself pretty handy around the house. Important hint that I wish I would have known earlier: there are three wires that come attached to the fixture. 1 is the exposed copper wire which is the ground wire. The other 2 come wrapper in brown and “stuck” to each other. If you look closely, one has a ribbed pattern on the plastic, and one has a smooth exterior. THAT is what the instructions are telling you to look at when you see “ribbed fixture wire” and “smooth fixture wire”. Whoever needs to hear that, you’re welcome lol. The overall quality of the Chandelier is very good, the color and weight are as advertised. We installed Edison (3000K lights) bulbs and should have picked the warmer 2100K, with 5 bulbs this Chandelier is bright but dims real well. As seen in other reviews the installation instructions are poor forcing you to rely on the diagrams which are really pretty good. The installation took about an hour after double checking chain and down tubes length to get the right height. however I think the chains caused the lamp to hang crookedly because one of them also routes the wiring - the level was off enough to notice. I put a black twist tie in the chain links to tighten up the low side's chain and it worked great and is invisible. I would recommend this for anyone that is basically handy around the house. ... show more
