Firstly, as much as I love a good black and orange combo, I really wish the purple had been available. However, these are nice knives, and I've been needing some new ones. And as long as they are functional, the color doesn't really matter. I like that the block has a knife sharpener on it (won't work for the serrated knives, but will be nice for the others), and I was so surprised to see the kitchen scissors with a BUILT-IN BOTTLE OPENER FOR THE WIN!!! I wish the steak knives were not serrated, I have some trauma with those cutting my finger open in the past, but I just won't use those ones. The butcher knife, or biggest knife, works really well, and just helped me chop stuff up for a salad! I will say, you can get the same quality knives for a lot less $ at Target or even sometimes at Ross when they have them, so I'm not sure they're worth $70, but they are nice knives. ... show more

This is a good mid level knife set The knives cut well and are very sharp The steak knives especially fit well in the hand and the rubberized grip help with slippage Not sure what to make of the bright orange color, but they cut well There is no mention whether they are dishwasher safe or not, but I don't typically put them through as a general rule for longevity sake The true test will be in several months after use. There are a lot of German stainless steel knives that work well in the beginning, but lose their edge overtime I will update the review in a few months and let you know my experience ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I really like this set for one the color is unique at least to me it is anyway I never really seen this color for any kind of kitchen utensils but I could be wrong but regardless I like the color it blends in well when where I'm going to put it in my kitchen. They are quality made knives they're very sharp so please be careful when you first open the boxes and take them out of the wrappers. It has just about every kitchen knife that you would need maybe except for a cleaver but you got everything else there as you saw in the video of the grips are nice they fit well in the hand I guess they call him the dolphin a dolphin grip or dolphin handle or something like that but anyway it fits comfortably it's nice I like the shape of it the knives themselves are are sturdy and I could see if you just give him a little TLC every time you use them that they can last you a while. I mean you got your chef knife your bread knife a slicing knife a santuco knife utility knife paring knife and you got six steak knives so you get a lot of knives there plus you get the kitchen scissors and the built-in sharpener on the block itself which makes it so much easier to sharpen them when it's right there as opposed to having to look for it and by that time you usually give up so it's handy to have it built in so you have no excuse to not sharpen them. I like it and I definitely recommend it again everyday use little TLC I think these things can last a while it's a nice set. ... show more
