Kölsch is a crisp, clean, easy-drinking ale. It has a straw-yellow hue similar to a pilsner, but is less hoppy, a bit sweeter and uses pale malts and a small amount of wheat. The lager-like characteristics this ale is famous for are achieved by using a liquid Kölsch yeast.     • Easy to use and quality ingredients
I very much enjoyed the beer kits from Brewer's Best. I have been brewing for some time now but still consider myself to be a relative beginner. This kit comes with clear and detailed instructions. The Kolsch kit was easy to brew and the taste was crisp and clean. Highly recommend!

    • Not my favorite type of beer but is a good tasting well put together kit. Used liquid Kolsch as suggested by others.
Decent beer, I used liquid Kolsch yeast and followed included instructions. Beer turned out great, clean crisp, nice carbonation, good head etc. Good refreshing beer for after work or on hot day, not too heavy but more substance and flavor than a light beer. Kit was put together well, boxed well and the instructions were easy enough to follow. It's a great kit. Really good directions. We brewed in like 3 hours. By evening, it was popping really good. These kits work really well!

husband loves this company's kits. He just bottled one he had in his fancy fermenter. The kit sat for one month before bottling. please don't stop selling these kits

didnt ferment long went through the motions...bottled today dignt taste bad added a little extra priming sugar will let it set an extra week...then we will see
