I have used the fermenter two times now. It's really easy to clean and All the grub gos to the bottom. I would buy more of them but there a little expensive. 48 for the fermenter but it's 12 bucks for shipping that's 60$each you can get two fermmoster s for the same price. but they good looking and work well.

Originally, I would give it only 1 star because the box was delivered opened and the bottles were scratched, dented, and covered with dust from the truck or warehouse, like the driver or warehouse workers spilled the content of the box and shoved everything back in the box and did not even seal it with a tape. That explains why people complain about missing parts… After calling BrewDemon customer service, call was answered right away (by Billy) and BrewDemon shipped new set of bottles with tops and labels for free within few minutes of the call. Overall, impressive customer service. Now about the kit: I am not sure why many people complain about the leaking spigot. If you clean the surface off burr and place the seal the right way, the fermenter’s spigot will not leak. The gasket is beveled and the beveled side needs to be facing in the fermenter. Do not overtighten it to the level when the gasket is bulging out. Kit and the recipe is very easy to use, without a need of additional expensive equipment just mix and head up the HME wort, pour in, wait for the temperature of the wort cool down below 82 degree Fahrenheit and sprinkle with yeast. By the way, the yeast is hidden under the lid of one of the HME cans. The wort with yeast is not sensitive to temperature as long as the fermenter is kept between 64-82 degrees, no need for chiller if you keep the fermenter in the house. I think it is a fun set up for experimenting with different types of beers and flavors and if you decide to like the brewing hobby, read read read about it and take it to the next level. Have fun. Party time. Pint will cost you about $2.

Kit was missing, stick-on thermometer, and air lock. I contacted brewdemon directly and they were excellent and immediately mailed me the missing items. Great service from manufacturer

Great product but I would recommend getting your ingredients and recipes from your local home brew stores as this is not the right beer they claimed it was.

First of all, the system is incredibly easy to use. The prophecy ale that comes with the product which I purchased is absolutely delicious. If you follow the instructions, you will have a perfect Brew. On another note, when I had a small problem with the gasket attached to the spigot, customer service contacted me within an hour after my initial email. I would highly recommend this product, if nothing else based upon its customer service but also upon its product.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He LOVED it! We took it all out of the box and followed the instructions on New Year’s Eve. It was super easy to follow. Came with everything we needed. We did step 2, putting the mixture in the bottle, today. Then we wait 7 more days and we should have beer. This is an awesome gift idea. Nothing was damaged like I saw on other reviews. And so far everything has worked perfectly. 😀

Not a good value but very easy to get into brewing with. The fermenter is super cheap feeling and thin. I don’t like the burp valve. The sanitizer packets are nice. The 1 gallon kit is a better value but that fermenter feels even cheaper and doesn’t seal on the top. But will it let you brew beer in like 20 min, yes. I’d buy their extract kits and a glass fermentation jar instead.
