  • Great for its price
I am finally ready to provide a review of the shed. Overall, this is a decent product for its price, and the overall quality is quite good. Approximately 98% of the holes were matched. A few holes were slightly out of line, but I am not certain that this was not due to an imperfectly leveled floor/base on my part. The main negative is that skilled assembly is required. I have significant experience in furniture assembly due to my work, so it was not overly complicated for me, although the process was time-consuming. It took me and my mother, acting as a helper, approximately three days (about six hours each) to complete the assembly. Here are some key insights from the assembly process: - Good Leveled Base is Essential: You must create a good, even, and leveled base. Without one, you will not be able to assemble this structure. I used pallets for my base. - Follow the Instructions: Please follow the instructions meticulously and do not try to deviate from each step. - A Helper is Required: You will not be able to assemble this by yourself. Get a buddy who can help hold parts steady or pass you the correct tools and parts. - Right Tools: A cordless powered screwdriver is the only efficient way to handle the assembly. - Good Weather: Plan this purchase for a dry, warm season. Doing the assembly in the rain and wind significantly delayed our process. Despite the fact that each individual part seems flimsy, the shed is sturdy enough once it is fully built. However, be aware that you cannot lean anything heavy against the walls, as they will instantly bend. ... show more

  • Excellent shed for the price
For the price, this shed is great. The package arrived 3 days early which was nice. You’ll need at least two people to start on it and it is time consuming however the instructions are very clear and everything is clearly labeled. I’d recommend building a platform for it. All the metal pieces arrived unharmed with no dents or scratches. There were a couple places where the pilot holes did not align with where a screw needed to go (probably was operator error) but since most of the assembly is with sheet metal screws, it’s easy to sink the screws into the metal below. Once the shed was fully built, it felt pretty sturdy. I don’t feel like aftermarket support is necessary unless maybe if you live somewhere where 12in of snow is probable. This thing takes forever to assemble but it’s definitely worth it, I would purchase again. ... show more

  • I hope you like peeling plastic off of metal.
First off, let me warn you there there is a thin plastic film on every piece of metal in the kit. It was truly a nightmare to remove. If I would have realized what a time suck peeling that plastic off would have been, I would have started peeling a few days before construction. It was a cold day when we were assembling the shed but we found that leaving the pieces in the sun to warm up and using hairdryers and heat guns to warm the metal up a little helped remove the plastic a little faster. Also if you can get it rolling in one piece down the sheet, that seemed to make peeling easier (see pic). But good Lord, it took 3-4 adults peeling plastic for nearly 10 hours straight to get all the plastic off this stuff. I also got the 10x10 ft building so it had a LOT of pieces. Whoever decided to coat everything in plastic and not at least put a start tab or something on this, you’re a bad person. Secondly, the directions say it will take 3-4 people 7 hours to assemble…haha yeah ok. It took me and my father over 20 hours over the course of 4 days to assemble this nightmare. It felt like trying to screw aluminum foil to tissue paper the whole time we were assembling. Once you get every single piece in place it does feel way more stable, but I’m sure a strong wind would tear this thing apart in a heartbeat. The metal is so thin and flimsy! None of the pieces arrived bent, but we accidentally bent a few pieces when taking the plastic off. You definitely need to wear gloves (which are included) when handling the metal because it has some sharp edges! The day we got the roof on, it rained and the building leaked quite a bit. The plastic washers that come with the kit are kinda useless. You would be better off getting sheet metal screws and rubber washers. The kit also came with all these plastic screw covers that are listed in the inventory, but never tell you when to attach them. We ended up using an electric screw driver to screw them on, well that just unscrewed the screws in the roof and walls. My dad had the idea to get on the outside of the building and screw the screws back in place while I held the plastic screw covers on with a pair of pliers. That seemed to tighten everything up well. We also put silicone on every screw on the roof to help prevent further leaking. I like how tall the building is on the inside (well I’m only 5’5, so it’s plenty tall inside for me). I was able to put 2 storage shelves inside to help organize everything. I bought the building with the floor frame and we put in a treated wood floor. Just like everyone else has said, make sure your base is level!! Take your time! Also, read the directions, I cannot stress that enough. When my dad would go rogue and start piecing things together that looked like they belonged together, we always had to take them apart and re-read the directions. Yes the directions are a little confusing, but read them closely and everything will work out. Honestly I would not suggest buying this building, unless you really love a challenge or you love peeling plastic. ... show more

  • Decent Product

Challenging to assemble. But, it serves the exact purpose of what I purchased it for and the quality is well worth the price.

  • Not bad for the price...
Size: 10X12FT Color: Brown
This is my second shed of this style that I've built. I built both by myself for 90% of the work, a second hand is needed for the other 10%. Total time was about eight hours. REMOVING THE PLASTIC IS A NIGHTMARE!!! Seriously half your time is spent peeling the plastic off the sheets, and don't think for a second to just leave it on, it will become UV beaten over time and fall off spreading everywhere. Anyways, this kit came with extra hardware unlike my last shed. Make sure to really square the shed and ensure your walls are plumb and true or the roof panels will not align. One of the downfalls of working alone was my walls bowed and threw all my roof panels off. The panels are very thin, not much more than a beer can, but once it's all screwed together it becomes sturdy enough. My first roof of my shed caved in from a heavy snow load, that was my fault for not taking it off. I was able to pop it back and it was fine. Overall for under $500 you can't really beat it, I priced out framing up my own and figured I would be well over three times the cost. If you can't build a shed from lumber you're going to struggle building this shed. But if you have half a brain and follow the directions you should be ok. ... show more
