I've rediscovered sourdough baking again and ordered this product because of all the supplies that came with set. The proofing baskets especially appealed to me, along with 2 small sized silicone bread pans and 10 minis. For the most part, I've been real impressed with the products in this kit. The glass jar to hold the starter is as heavy as an old canning jar and would be difficult to break. The silicone proofing baskets and minis are easy to clean, easy to work with and a dream when it comes to releasing the bread. The enclosed tools are also excellent, especially the silicone stirrer and brush. The scoring tool, I didn't like the looks of as all 5 of the enclosed blades had slight corrosion along one of the edges. I wouldn't shave with these, much less use these on a food product. Overall, this is a good set for someone who is just learning to cook with sourdough. It really does have all the tools you need to start your own culture which in turn can be used to bake an assortment of sourdough breads. I would however double check the condition of the blades before using them to score the loaves. ... show more

1. This silicone sourdough starter kit is of good quality! The material is soft and durable, and it does not stick to the dough, which makes it super easy to clean. The bread fermented with it has a perfect shape and tastes better. I highly recommend it!
