Braun definitely stands behind their products. Shortly after I started using this electric shaver, the cleaning station started to misbehave. When I called Braun about it, they quickly sent me a label to send it in for service. A couple of weeks later, they sent me a brand new cleaning station, which has worked exactly as designed. I have not had any skin irritation with this electric razor. I switched from a Panasonic razor to Braun because I was feeling like the Panasonic was just ripping hairs out of my face even with brand new blades and foils and causing me to bleed all over the place. This is not a good thing when you are on blood thinners. Combined with Freelette, I am extremely pleased with the feel after a shave.

I've been using the Braun electric shavers for more than 45 years. During the last 25 years, I always chosen to buy the top of the line shaver, at that time. The previous model I used was the Series 7, starting from its first submodel and ending with the last one before being discontinued. The Series 9 PRO+ is the best Braun shaver I had until now. It gives you a very close and smooth shave, without any irritation. The trimmer is not bad, but I find it difficult to activate/deactivate, and it's in an unusual position on the back of the shaver. The body of the shaver itself is different from the Series 7; it is much lighter, a bit thinner, and I feel it might fall out of my hand. I will probably get used to it in time. The blade is also a little more difficult to hold in your hand during cleaning. The noise level of the shaver is also slightly higher than that of the Series 7, but it's not bothersome. Overall, the shaver is of the highest technological level, a bit expensive, but if it serves me for a long time, then I can say that I made a good deal by buying it.

I had been using an Arc5 for years but now WFH and not shaving every day, I had switched to a rotary, which did a much better job at the longer hairs that I had, shaving maybe 2 or 3 times a week at most. Bu5, with the rotary, I just wasn't getting a close enough shave, so I went back to the Arc5, but my wife kept noticing random hairs that it would miss and I'd have to go back over them later. Enter the new Braun 9 Pro+ with the new 96M head. It is fantastic. With the new head, its as close to the Arc5 as Braun has been and it does a much better job at picking up all the long hairs, so no more stray hairs that are noticed later, plus IMO it is more comfortable with less razor burn. As much as I liked the Arc5, the head was huge(one of the reasons I ignored the new Arc6) and was a bit difficult to work around my goatee. The Braun has a smaller head and is much easier to work around my goatee. One other shortcoming of the Arc5 was its cleaning base and its water based solution. No matter what I did, it would eventually develop an odor in the system(I've had the arc3 and 5) and the razor would not smell too good. The Braun base is quite good and uses an alcohol solution, which IMO does a much better job of leaving your razor clean and smelling good. I went with the model with the extra shaving head because A) I just don't see myself taking the time to use the massaging head first, before the shave and B) the new 96M head is impossible to find in the states right now, so having that extra head, just in case, is good piece of mind and will save money later. Overall, IMO Braun is finally catching up to the Panasonic Arc. There are tradeoff with each but with the new head and how close it is to the closeness of the Arc and getting what I consider a more comfortable shave, this is a keeper for me.

I would have given this shaver 5 stars if it did not cost a million dollars:-) But that said, it is the best on the market! I had an older Braun series 9 which was done after 7 years. Tried a Panasonic Arc5 a few years ago and it was fine if you shaved every day... but after a couple days off on the weekend, Monday morning was a total battle. It took forever to shave. The Braun 9 Pro+ does not care if you took some days off from shaving. It is a beast on longer growth. If you shave every day then a shaver like the Panasonic Arc is just fine. Otherwise, if want to spend a ton of money for the best electric shaver available then go for it!!

I have a thick beard and I shave daily, and the Braun Series 9 PRO+ has been awesome. It gives a really close, comfortable shave without feeling harsh on my skin, and it handles my beard well without tugging or forcing me to do a bunch of passes. One thing I’ll mention: if you’re coming from a standard razor, there’s a short adjustment period. It took me a few shaves to get used to the electric technique and how the shave feels compared to a blade. Once I dialed that in (light pressure, letting the shaver do the work), the results were consistently great. Overall, it’s a premium shaver that actually performs, especially for daily shaving with thicker facial hair. Highly recommend.

This thing is awesome! gets a close of enough shave that razer does without razer burn if you have senstive skin and new a like razor shave this is it! Just insane price point sadly. If it didnt do such a great job i would give it 4 stars cause of price point but its only thing that works so its 5 stars!

What an enjoyable shave! I was using a Norelco shaver for years and it always burnt my skin and particularly my neck. I finally decided to “bite the bullet “ and splurge for the Braun 9 Pro+. Worth every penny! You’ve got to try this system. You won’t be sorry.

Terrible / almost useless instructions. The razor it self is fine. Except for the legal warnings put in by the attorneys, the instructions are a bunch of cartoons. About half of which I could figure out, the other half we're meaningless. I received parts/extras with the razor. I have no idea what they do or how they're used. Yes, I like drawings and pictures, but some words to go with it would be wonderful.
