Loved the way this jacket looked in online pictures without models. With models and customer photos the appearance varied, and worried me a little. I am 6' 183lbs with a 33 waist and wear a 42 suit jacket. I ordered the large. The item arrived very quickly, a few days! When I opened the package I was excited, it looked really nice. When I first put it on, I thought it looked good, but fitted. My wife said it looks weird in the back... Using a mirror, I was disappointed and agreed with my wife. It looks too short in the back, and there is a slit which takes away the masculine look of the jacket. Considered buying an XL but decided not worth the risk as it would be longer but too big. This Jacket would be a home run if Brandit made it about 2 or 3 inches longer and did away with rear slit.

Very nice rugged looking jacket. Great for casual/weekend wear. At the advice of some other reviewers, I initially ordered a large based on hearing that this jacket runs small. Mine most certainly did not - a large (which is my normal T-Shirt size) is much too baggy. Although I tend to prefer a more Euro-styled fitted look than many of my fellow Americans do.

I got the large I'm 5'6", 175 lbs and I have a 42" chest. After reading the reviews, it indicated that these jackets run a little small. I like my jackets to fit slightly snug (not tight but not baggy). This jacket fit too large on me. The sleeves were too long and the mid section was too baggy for me. I returned the jacket thinking I might just get the medium but ended up going with another jacket. As for the quality of the jacket, it seems well made with good material and good stitching. It's a light-medium weight and would make a decent spring weather jacket. The jacket was received very quickly so I give the shipping 5 stars The quality also gets 5 stars The fit, while adequate for some, was not to my liking so it got 2 stars The average rating for this jacket was 3 stars. It's an okay product but just didn't fit my needs.

I'm 6'1" and I weigh 150 lbs. I ordered the Olive color in a large. I'm usually skeptical about ordering clothing of any type online because of sizing issues but this jacket fits great. My only complaint is the excess string on the buttons and almost all of the seams. Kind of expected better quality control from a German made product. A picture from one of the sellers showed a sherpa type lining but there is no lining whatsoever. Either way it's a great, lightweight jacket. Very happy with my purchase.

Fits great for a taller person. I'm 5'9" and have broad shoulders. A large fit perfect in shoulders and is a better fitting nicer version of an M65 field jacket even comes with liner that is just like the one you get in a military jacket. Just didn't fit my frame too long on me otherwise very well made bummed I had to return it.

Purchase one size bigger, yes, it's true. It'll fit just right if u want a perfect feel and a little past the waist length. Wish there was more pics posted though. Just know that the zipper on the back of collar is black and has a black leather accent also. Other than that the quality and craftsmanship are top shelf.

I am typically stuck between the sizes of medium and large, depending on the brand. From what I read in the reviews, I decided to purchase a large, and it fits perfectly. I like my clothes to fit well and not be too big, and this fits great. I've worn it every day since I got it and I've received a bunch of complements already. Really nice jacket, great style, well-made. Very happy with my purchase.
