Bought this to use at a friend's bar to play prior to a horse race. Looks decent. Workmanship is C-. By the way, this is a "C" trumpet. Great for an occasional "Call To The Post" trumpet fanfare. Worth $120. Not much more. Valves are OK, but I can see copious amounts of valve oil usage with this, however. If you're a trumpet player looking for a Herald trumpet for similar limited use, I'd highly recommend. But, if you're in a military band, for example, and this is your primary axe, look elsewhere. with the price of this instrument being so low, i expected the quality of the sound to be where it is. however, this trumpet is still super cool nonetheless.

My teenager has loved music since we introduced him to the world of strings at age 3. Once he hit middle school, he decided to try brass. He had already attained the status of his Boy Scout Troop bugler, so when tryouts happened, he was a shoo-in for the trumpet. A few months ago, he saw this trumpet on Amazon and asked if he could get it for Christmas. I have never said no whenever he's asked for books or anything related to music, so of course, we purchased this. He's loved showing it to his band teacher and playing it just for fun.
