One strip will melt into your gums and prevent your lower lip or side of your from contact with any of the sharpness of the braces and will allow time to heal if there is any irritation. There is plenty of supply of 6 strips packaged in 10 individual containers that fit in one overall container.

I have a carriere motion appliance on my bottom teeth to help correct a misaligned jaw. The protruding metal anchor point had been slowly digging and cutting into my cheek until I was in excruciating pain and noticed a cut flap had developed. Snapping off half of a wax stick, rolling it into a ball and adhering it to that metal piece, in combination with salt water rinse, vitamin B and Advil, has significantly reduced the pain and swelling. The wax mostly stays in place and I take it out and apply a new one before each meal and bedtime. Leaving it in while having liquids has been fine. Doesn’t taste like anything which I prefer. Only swishing liquid will dislodge the wax so durability is good. I appreciate the plastic packaging container that the little wax cases come in. Keeps everything tidy around the bathroom and much more preferable than having a bunch of loose wax cases. There isn’t much deviation of this food grade wax compared to what my ortho gave me. They’re virtually identical and a great value. Will plan to buy more as I have to wear this for a few more months.

OMG!!! When I started my Invisalign they kept rubbing against my mouth and gums. My cousin and my Sissy told me about the wax stripes that helped them both and what can I say Thee Best Thing EVER made. I would recommend to anyone in need.

I love the packaging! The colorful cases are fun and it’s very nice to have a big case for storage. But the quality of the wax is sub-par. It doesn’t have a scent or flavor, which is good. But the wax is too soft. This might be good if you only have braces brackets to put wax on, but I have expanders with big, sharp edges. The wax does ok with a lot of effort, but it breaks down while trying to shape it around the expander edge, which is annoying and requires my fingers in my mouth much longer than would be necessary with a wax that’s a little stiffer. In the end, I purchased stiffer wax and will be doing away with this wax but keeping the packaging!

It doesn't stick well to the plastic retainer I have, and it's hard to get the wax soft and thin. But it's good once you get it on.
