  • Best decision for post surgical recovery
Size: 2XL 9"
I would give this product stars more if I could! I had robotic surgery for my pancreatic cancer last week and of course my belly was uncomfortable. In doing research for general abdominal surgery, a band like this was recommended. The change in how my stomach feels was instantaneous! My FUPA is locked in and not pulling on my sutures. I did wear a tank top underneath to make it more comfortable but that’s just my preference. I was also able to put this on by myself but had my husband take it off and reapply to get a bit tighter. I wish I had something like this when I left the hospital on Monday. ... show more

  • Great Support & Comfort – A Lifesaver for Long Days!
Size: 2XL 12"
This belly band has been a game changer for managing my hernia. It provides the right amount of compression to keep everything in place, so after a long day on my feet, I’m not dealing with nearly as much pain in my stomach region. The material is comfortable, durable, and stretches well, making it easy to wear for extended periods. The Velcro holds securely, so I never have to worry about it slipping or loosening throughout the day. It provides firm support without feeling too restrictive, which is exactly what I was looking for. If you need a reliable hernia support belt, I highly recommend this one. It’s made a huge difference in my daily comfort, and I wouldn’t want to go without it! ... show more

  • Takes 4 hands to put this on!
Size: 2XL 12"
I really had high hopes. Yes, I googled these 'support devices' and read up as much as I could. I also read plenty of reviews on this product and others similar to it. I really had high hopes that this would help with old age lady belly sag. I tried the 9 inch version that I could buy locally, which was a laugh. So, I bought this 12 inch version. What an ordeal. I tried several times to get it setting just right so I could pull the velcro binding over and fasten it. It catches on everything and just rips the material apart. I had to have my husband help me fasten it, and he's like a buffalo in a china shop just throwing me and the binder around trying to get things to line up and attach. Once we finally got everything to line up and fasten, it felt pretty darn good, holding everything in, and I could still breathe and bend over. Going to the bathroom is impossible with this on. You have to drag your underwear out from under it (remember, old lady=granny panties) to use the loo, then you have to try to stuff the panties back under it and reach through it to drag them back up into place without getting a wedgie. After a couple hours though, the binder is rolling up over my hips, or rolling down and digging into my waistline and tearing my skin. I tried again the next 3 days, with Mr. Buffalo's help, and each day it was worse. This thing does not have any type of vertical support to keep it from rolling on your body and it continues to roll no matter how tight or loose you apply it. Plus the fact that is has bionic velcro that rips apart the material so badly when prying it off that you cannot attach it in the same place twice. The surface now looks like a fleece blanket, all fuzzy and stringey. If it was maybe another 3-4 inches taller, it might get above or below some of the 'extra padding' and not be so apt to roll on the torso. This was not a good use of my money and I will not be purchasing again. ... show more

  • Love this wrap
Size: 4XL 12"
Love this wrap, works great with my 2 hernia's. This wrap is very wide, and works well. Back is sewn at an angle, which keeps the ends at a downward angle, and prevents slipping up higher.

  • Too short & material is thin/un-padded
Size: 2XL 12"
I had surgery with 6 laproscopic incisions around my abdomen. Being a tall women, I wanted my binder to cover a little wider than the 9" binder the hospital gave me, as not all of my incisions are covered. While this isn't the primary reason for the binder, the locations of the higher incisions made them easier to rub against the top of the binder. For that reason, I researched 10+ inch abdominal binders. I used the size guide in the description a purchased a 2XL. My widest measurement was in the center of the range so I was not caught between sizes. The first thing I noticed when opening the package was how thin and un-padded the binder was. My hospital one had a slightly padded panel along the front section, over the incisions. This one was uniform throughout. The material was thin and not smooth. I had a feeling it would be itchy after a short time. But I didn't get to find that our because it was about 2 inches too short and would not fasten. Again, my measurements were in the mid point of the 2XL size range, so this was very surprising to me. I will be returning this and not replacing it with a larger size due to the material. ... show more
