I have osteoarthritis and kept going to Summit Ortho for bracing. They kept giving me crappy braces and then dropping off the face of the earth after charging me a lot of money. I have a child with CP so I am no slouch in the brace department and I decided to try my hand at finding a brace. Pros: This brace is affordable. It also doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to wear it. The videos are very self-explanatory and helpful at showing what to do. The brace itself is comfortable and comes with all the tools needed for home adjustment. They also offer to do virtual fitting if you need help. Cons: If you have not braced yourself before or aren't familiar with the exact right way to do things, you may end up hurting yourself or making the problem worse. I always recommend having someone double-check your work whether you do a virtual visit with the company or go to your doctor. I've arthritis in one knee. It's due to a congenital defect that causes bowed legs. I searched for non medical ways to affect the way my knee's angle, trying to alleviate pain, swelling and immobility at times. My search helped me understand better how braces or wraps support and strengthen muscles and relieve pressure on tendons and nerves. That led me to this brace. It has given the relief Ive sought for more than a few years and seems to have realigned my knee, slowing pain free mobility as I once knew. The other day I actually got over 10k steps in and hadn't even noticed any achiness or stiffness in the knee. I am thrilled!! I don't wear the brace every day. I don't wear the brace all day when I do wear it. I walk around in it in the house and some out of doors, though I do not attempt exercising nor shopping or short strolls like a walk around the block. I wear it while working which I sit for mostly. I've only had it for a week, so I can't comment on the durability or longevity of this product, but after wearing it daily for that week, I'd have to say this is an excellent product that does what it's supposed to do. As background, I have some mild osteoarthritis in both knees and related to this, I tore the inner meniscus on my left knee. If you've experienced this, you know how painful it can be and also how frustrating it is to go from walking, hiking and even running to plotting your trips around the house to minimize the pain. My Doctor told me it will eventually heal and it is, but to do that, requires rest, frequent icing, pain meds and such. I was also using a tradional knee brace that helped but not the way this one does. The "offload" part is what does the magic and after one week of daily wear, my knee feels significantly better despite being on my feet each day. I even took the dog for a walk the other day which was a great accomplishment at this point. A few tips. After having some skin discomfort, I put an Ace style compression bandage underneath and it feels much better. You also have to carefully manage the straps and velcro to avoid chafing. And positioning the "Puck" that compresses the opposite side of your knee is critical. It's a little bulky but wearable under dress pants or loose jeans. Easy to wear with shorts and the black straps and plastic look better than white imo. I can't see this being too small for anyone, the straps are very long, but I could see it being too big for someone who is very small in stature. So a great product that does what it's supposed to do and hopefully one that will hold up until it's no longer needed. ... show more

I bought this for one of my sisters and had it sent to Trinidad for her. Here is what she wrote to me “if you look I had to stick back all of them. I am sorry, if I was close I would return it. For a product as important, it’s very inferior. Plus the bag is not what I got. So sorry.” I had this product shipped to Rockville, Md because one of my nieces took it to Trinidad for me. It's hard to find a good knee brace that gives support without being uncomfortable, bulky etc etc. This one is close. It's pretty comfortable. But it is bulky. My biggest issue is the straps working loose and the brace sliding down my leg
