Okay not everybody gets excited about a trash can. But after becoming bored with stainless steel I happened to find these and realized they match everything in my house. I bought two different sizes both in the blue green and when they arrived I was concerned the top was dimpled but I was able to push it out from the inside of the lid and realize it's sort of like having a new car ... it's tragic when there is that first scratch happens but then the pressure is off! These are also metal so I am expecting they will last the rest of my life. I do wish it made a thin rectangular one did I could use in a limited clearance space adjacent to a door. The Brabantia trash cans are built to last! High quality, silent close, sturdy removable bin. I have one in white and the other is metallic mint. One is under the kitchen sink for kitchen scraps that are to be composted. The other is for scooping out the liter box. They're great!
