These trash bags are comparable to more expensive bags. At 1.1 mil they are the same thickness as the brand I used previously. They are a bit smaller, 30 gallon vs. 33 gallon, but they still fit the trash can I bought them to use in, and since I empty the trash before the bag is bulging full, that extra 3 gallons does not matter to me.
