We got these clear blue 30 gallon trash bags to use for several purposes. One is to store items so we can easily see what's in them. One is to put things in to be donated to charity. Of course one is for the obvious purpose, to put trash in. They are very sturdy stretchy bags and can hold quite a bit of stuff. These recycle bags are useful for many purposes. I use them primarily for paper recycle (mostly smaller paper and cardboard items that get lost in other recycle items). But they're good for simply keeping all recycle items separated - whether required or not. If your waste management company does not pick up recycle items, recycle operations usually require separation of items. Hence, the value of having these bags. I use Hefty clear bags on a regular basis. My only real criticism is the box within they are packaged. It is not sturdy enough and is shipped sometimes within boxes, but occasionally only a shipping label is placed on it. The bags are fine but the boxes need to be more sturdy.
