These Hefty recycle bags are great! They’re strong and hold a lot without tearing, even with heavier recyclables. The drawstring makes them easy to tie up and carry. They fit my bin perfectly and make taking out recycling much easier and definitely a reliable choice. They are priced well also.

These bags have worked very well for me for quite a while now. The drawstring is perfectly fine, easy to find in the liner and tie. I like the blue and for a kitchen bag the plastic is heavy enough for plastics, shredder paper, and kitchen waste.

    • Really Hefty?
We have been using these Hefty recycle bags for decades (not kidding) and were satisfied with the quality and the price. Recently we noticed the bags got thinner and tore much easier which didn't happen before. We had only shredded paper in the bag when it tore at its seams. Imagine all that fun cleaning the micro shreds of paper all over the floor. We had to use two bags instead of one which makes mandatory recycling expensive. It's understandable that manufacturers are trying to cut cost and raise their prices but if the quality suffers, why would an educated consumer in their right mind continue to buy their product?! If that's the case, we might as well just order generic bags at a lower price. Conclusion: if you can get these bags on sale and they are priced competitively, go for yours. Otherwise, look somewhere else. Apparently, brand loyalty is not appreciated by Hefty. ... show more

i always buy these. They hold a lot. they don't leak. they are see-through. What's not to like? The price is right and i think there is a sale on them right now. i have enough stocked up in my pantry.
