1.2 gallon - I use this brand of bags in the 1 gallon, 1.2 gallon and the 2 gallon sizes. They are plenty sturdy for bathroom and bedroom trash. Our larger can (2 gal.) is in the family room which can get some heavier items. These bags hold up well in there, too.

My State recently started charging for plastic grocery bags so now I have to buy bags to line my bathroom garbage cans. I needed to find small bags similar in size. I looked all over amazon but I had a hard time judging what size pails fit what size bags. So if your in the same boat as me... these bags are perfect for small bathroom garbage cans!!! I have two different types of cans, one is your standard round bathroom can and these bags fit great. They are the perfect size and have enough room to flap over the outside of the can a few inches and even tie it in a knot. The other can is an Umbra Skinny can. It’s an elongated skinny oval can with two handles. These bags fit but don’t have a lot to overlap over the edges. The design of the Umbra skinny can gets wider at the top so theses bags have a tendency to fall down. But that’s the design fault of the garbage can, not these bags. But it works fine for me for both cans. The plastic bags come rolled up into 8 rolls which is also a huge plus. I keep one roll in the bottom of both cans and can easily tear a new one off when needed. These are perfect for small bathroom garbage cans and the price makes them even better ! ... show more

Too small for the waste basket it was purchased for. If it is draped over the side of the basket when installed and you put anything with a little weight in it it collapses into itself.
