I’ve gone through quite a few boxes of the Amazon Basics scented trash bags, and overall they’re a solid option for everyday kitchen use. The clean fresh scent is noticeable without being overpowering, which helps keep the kitchen smelling decent even when the trash starts to fill up. The bags fit my 13-gallon kitchen can well, and the drawstrings make it easy to tie up and carry out without a mess. They’re reasonably durable for normal household trash—no issues with light to large loads—but I wouldn’t push them too far with really heavy or sharp items, as they can stretch a bit. With 200 bags in the box, it’s a great value and lasts a long time, especially compared to some name brands. Overall, a good budget-friendly choice that gets the job done, just not the toughest bags out there.

Love my Amazon trash bags. We have been buying these for YEARS! They fit perfectly in my 13 gallon trash can. I also use them as litter liners for my Litter Robot. They fit the bottom of the drawer perfectly, have a nice scent, and are sturdy and strong for when we have to dispose of the litter. Great all around trash bags!

I’ve used Amazon bags for years now and honestly have nothing bad to say about them. I see some reviews claiming they’re cheap or bust easily, but that simply hasn't been my experience. In fact, I find them better than many of the name brands I used to buy, like Glad and Hefty. I usually purchase the 200-count box, which easily lasts me two to three months depending on what I have going on. Common sense applies here—they aren't meant for loose glass or sharp objects that would slice right through any standard trash bag. Treat them like regular household bags, and they hold up great without ripping. Solid quality for the price.

I have been using this particular brand of trash bags for the last couple years and they've always been great... Up until recently anyway! Normally they are strong, reliable, smell good and don't split at the seams. About 9 months ago I noticed a drastic change in the quality. At this point it is about half and half... I would say 5 bags out of every 10 that I'm opening are splitting at the seams. As soon as I go to put them into the trash can they split at the top ruining the tie - making them impossible to tie closed! Unfortunately with the cost of trash bags I can't see myself throwing half of them away. So I'm going to be switching to another brand. I could see if this had just been one package... I would have assumed it was a manufacturing defect. Which is exactly what I did the first couple boxes I opened like this. The first one I just threw away thinking it was a defect. But then the second box was the same thing... and the third, the fourth and so on. I guess I'm going back to Glad because even though they are a little more expensive I'm not throwing half of them out... So I guess they are cheaper in the long run. I hope that Amazon can resolve this issue because normally these are great trash bags. But the fact that they are splitting half of the time when used on a normal Walmart 13 gallon plastic trash can... Well that's unacceptable.
