Made of OEKO-TEX certified hypoallergenic fabric. Do not bleach, high heat dry, iron, or dry clean. Avoid direct sunlight. Does it retain its shape and come with extra foam? Yes, the high-resilience foam and gusseted cover hold its shape. Remove the outer cover and tumble dry the core on low for 5 mins every 3 weeks to fluff. Extra foam included. How long does it stay cool, and what can I do to improve the experience? The pillow provides an instant cooling sensation upon contact. To significantly extend the cooling effect, it is recommended to use it without any extra pillowcases and pair it with a fan or an air conditioner (recommended below 76°F / 24.5°C).

Totally Adjustable Pillow!

This pillow is adjustable to suit your needs. I have a lower back injury that changed how I sleep. I was a side/tummy sleeper, but the injury changed everything. I now sleep on my back, so I've had to change my pillow. I've been through so many, but I also need a cooling pillow due to heading into the hot flashes phase of life. This pillow has a cooling cover on one side, though I wish it had the cooling cover on both sides. I'm not sure why they wouldn't have the cooling cover on both sides because eventually I need to flip the pillow due to my hot flashes. This pillow does allow the user to adjust the fill to either add or remove filling depending upon how thick you like your pillow. I have a short neck and don't need a thick pillow when sleeping on my back, but when I was sleeping on my side I would have needed a medium thick pillow. My father has a much larger head, neck and shoulder space, so he would need to add the bag of filler to support his head. After liking this pillow, I bought him one because he needs a pillow that he can squish while sleeping on his side and still bounce back from being squished all night. So far this pillow has been a great pillow for both of us. Since we are both hot sleepers, the cooling side is great, but we would love it more if it had the cooling side on both sides. Both sides are very soft and comfortable, but please bring out a cover that we can add that has cooling on both sides for those of us that are hot sleepers and need all the cooling that we can get.

This is NOT a memory foam pillow!? What the actual DUCK!? It’s so thin and very flat. Why am I having to add more fill!? It has a good awful smell. It doesn’t appear anything like the photo where it’s plush and plump instead it appears as very thin and flat.

Customizable Support That Keeps Cool All Night

Switching to an adjustable shredded memory foam pillow has noticeably improved my sleep comfort over the past few weeks. The key advantage here is the zippered inner liner, which lets you remove or add shredded foam fill until you hit the exact loft and firmness your neck needs. Out of the bag, it comes fully stuffed and fairly firm, but removing about two handfuls of foam dialed in the perfect angle for side sleeping without cranking my neck upward. The outer fabric cover feels soft, breathable, and stays surprisingly cool to the touch throughout the night, preventing that uncomfortable heat buildup common with solid foam slabs. The shredded fill holds its structure well across eight hours—no waking up in the middle of the night needing to fluff or fold the pillow in half. Removing the outer cover for machine washing is easy, and it came out of the dryer looking good as new. If you're picky about pillow thickness and want proper alignment, this customizable setup is fantastic.
