Bought this for my older sister who loves her 45's. Plugged it in, put on a record, and was very impressed by the sound. All the other features worked well too. One issue... the records would stop playing while still having another 30 seconds - to a minute to finish. Found there is a small switch next to the arm assembly that you can "turn off". Its an auto stop feature. We slid the switch to "off" and now the records play all the way through. Great system. ... show more

    • Good value for what it is.
This is not a high end system. Nor is it priced like one. It is compact and easy to use. I would have rated it higher if not for two things. First, the position and placement of the speakers matters a lot. When they were tucked back on the shelf, it sounded tinny. Once I experimented with there location, I was able to get good sound out of them. Second, the buttons on the tape deck feel flimsy, like they might break if pushed to hard. The whole bank moves when pushing any one button. In a word, it feels cheap. On the positive side, the retro styling looks great. The (real) wood cabinet is much better than the plastic that is more common these days. The bluetooth works well, as does all the other functions. The phono tone arm is reasonably well balanced and the platter is nice and straight. Overall, a good purchase for a small space. If you are looking for top sound or home theater equipment, this is not the system. ... show more

I was concerned that at this price, the quality would be poor, but so far no malfunctions or broken plastic parts. Sound quality is about what you'd expect for this amp/speaker combo but, hey, it's not costing 2000 dollars either. Good product so far.

First off I don't know much about vinyl records or Bluetooth setting features, but I purchased this because I loved the style and color to it. At first I was hesitant to purchase, but I just received this system and I can't stop using it and have already played so many different records. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and have already used all of the different features and functions. Very easy to use, beautiful style and has a great sound to it.     • It works great… until it doesn’t work at all
I loved, loved, loved the stereo when I first got it. It is easy to use, has some amazing features, and doesn’t take up a lot of room. It worked perfectly for about six months. Then I turned it on and nothing. No blown fuse. No sound inside when I turn it on, because it doesn’t turn on anymore. Nothing. For the price I guess the value is pretty good. For the six months it worked I was very happy with the stereo and would have given it five stars at that point. Overall though, I’m disappointed. ... show more
