I knew nothing about neckties but I needed one for my No Kings costume. I figured that, since my neck is much smaller than a man’s, I’d get a boy’s tie. To not have to figure out how to tie it, I got one on a adjustable strap. All was great (perfect red, good material) until I noticed it wasn’t as long as I needed. However, the “tail” (the end tucked behind the part you see in front) was almost as long as the part which showed. I thought I’d just skooch the tail up and lengthen the tie. No go. Then I made a BIG mistake. I UNtied it. I checked all the tie tying guides. All that wrapping and twisting left about 2” of tie. My Apologies To The Seller… So, I cut off the tail, folded the main part, and made a fake noose. I think it looks pretty good. Plus the necktie is now a perfect length for my purposes. ... show more
