Based on great reviews, I purchased a mic to have better voice in Zoom recordings via latest iphone for dance classes. I had some initial frustrations due to the tiny protective stickers on the back of the transmitters and receiver. Not the clear ones of the facade of each piece that peel off without effort... Look close on the back for the small opaque stickers covering the charging prongs. REMOVE them! lol They look like part of the plastic molding design but they are temporary and will prevent the devices from charging (after you've used up the initial charge upon arrival). Once I figured this out, things seem to be going ok with the charging situation. There is a noise cancellation option but it quite effective without even using that setting. I used this mic in a dance class with loud music and students talking but you can only hear me in the recording. Not even the music lol. which is a problem for my needs. (I have the proper Zoom audio features set to prevent noise cancellation ruining my music). Normally I keep the speaker a bit away from me to avoid drowning out my voice so I'll try again with the speaker close to me/raise volume to see if I can find a balance of voice/music in the recordings. If you don't have background music needs - just voice for vlogs, podcasts, YT, etc. then this is very small and lightweight so very convenient esp on the go. So 1) remove the tiny stickers over the prongs and 2 ) As someone else noted (thank you!!!) you do need to remove the receiver from your phone to listen to any recordings to check your results. I ran into that issue and was so glad to find an answer on reviews. 3) If you are using for any fitness/dance/music esp with Zoom, do a lot of testings to figure out ideal volumes, locations, etc so it's all in order before you need it.

I really like this mic set. But if you are buying a Hohem gimbal you should take a look at their similar mic set since it has some additional features that I would have liked.

The media could not be loaded. El paquete me llego antes de tiempo, la verdad me sentía ansioso por recibirlo, tenía que probarlo en una entrevista que tuve de mi trabajo, llego muy bien embalado en una caja, dentro venía el producto en su caja sellada, dentro el estuche con sus micrófonos, sellado en una bolsa, los micrófonos son extremadamente portátiles, pequeños, son tan livianos, quede sorprendido, todo me llego en orden, los micrófonos venía con un sello pegado en los pines de carga el cual retire y se cargaron al rato de ponerlos en el estuche, la verdad estoy feliz, los probé y funcionan de maravilla. Les cuento que para testear el audio y su volumen, utilizo una grabadora de audio Sony, la cual tiene entrada de micrófono y entrada de audífonos, es una técnica que les recomiendo. These seemed promising. And in a cell phone they worked, okay. For a couple days at least. If I tried to use them with my video camera, the sound was HORRIBLE and completely blown out. With the cell phone, the voice quality was never good, but was okay. However, now it will only record on one channel, and neither the sound reduction or stereo recording works. All-in-all a waste of money. I got to use them exactly 5 times for a few minutes each time, and now they're trash.

I like everything about this so far. I accidentally dropped my iPhone and it bent/broke the iPhone connector to the base unit. I've emailed the supplied address but haven't heard back. I want to buy the part I broke. I don't expect the manufacturer to replace for free what I broke. But it is a great mic for my purposes. Thankfully I have Android device I can use it with.

First some love... love the case and charging function as well as the battery life on all elements. The interchangeable adapters are brilliant. Bluetooth connects effortlessly and both transmitter(s) and receiver are easy to operate. The recording quality is ok - not the best; not the worst. BUT... unless you're speaking directly into the transmitter / mic (about an inch from your face), you're not going to get enough volume in your recordings. The gain has 6 levels and I've ensured the gain is turned all the way up. I've tested this with multiple iPhones and on my Macbook Pro - same result - just not loud enough. The volume can be enhanced with software but if you want to record directly to your phone and upload to social channels without enhancing the sound (i.e. crank up the volume), buy something else.
