The sides aren’t even straight. It’s bows inward at the center rack. It makes all the center slats too small to fit & too large at the ends (all the slats are the same size.

This is a decent box spring and fairly easy to put together (10 minutes) with good tools. I hope nobody has to use the China man tools supplied. That could take all day and then some plus the painful digits. I had an battery ratchet and 10mm socket and was able to breeze through this. Seems plenty strong. May end up putting plywood on top of it if the bars feel through mattress but other than that I am pretty happy with purchase ... show more

Easy to put together. Wrench provided is not the greatest. Most people will have one of their own. I did just use the one provided and was able to put it together by myself in less than an hour.
