This product came quickly and exactly as listed. It was easy for the guys to assemble. They did it so quickly I didn’t get to take a picture of it without the cover. We needed to use with our 14 inches gel mattress that sits in a platform bed. The regular box spring is way too high due to the thick mattress. My 6’2 son says it’s the perfect height and durable. We haven’t heard any noises from it either. I would recommend for anyone needing a low profile box spring.

This box spring was fairly easy to assemble. The outside frame uses 12 nuts and bolts and all the holes lined up pretty well and then you insert the bolts and tighten the nuts on. The parts packet included the nuts and bolts plus 2 extra of each as well as an allen wrench and thin metal wrench. I used a 10mm socket which made tightening the nuts much easier. Once the outer frame was assembled then the slats just sat down into holders on each side but.... The middle slats required that I use a large flathead screwdriver to lever them into place, it seemed like the middle was tighter than the ends. Once everything was assembled the cover went on like a fitted sheet. Overall, including the time it took to lever the slats into place and put the cover on it took me about 40 minutes to assemble the box spring. Once assembled it is extremely sturdy and when we placed the mattress on the box spring it was like a new mattress as far as support. I took one star due to the issue with fitting the middle slats into place but otherwise this is an outstanding box spring, far superior in my mind to the wooden ones of old (LOL) and anyone needing extra support for their bed would do well with this item.
