I wasn't going to give 5 stars. The box was heavy. I unpacked it carefully, thinking I would return it. BUT, as I was assembling it, I'm impressed with the quality. Then i realized when you put all these parts in a box, it gets heavy. It fit perfectly. Assembly was tedious but easy. Once assembled, it was easy to handle and very sturdy. This box spring is almost perfect. The only issue we have is, it had to be on the floor with the existing box spring. It was easy to put together as well looks nice. Not sure yet how easy it will be to clean. Haven't crossed that bridge yet. We feel the money we paid was worth it. Mom can get out of bed without fear of hurting herself.

I agree with purchasers who remarked on the ease of assembly. For me, by myself, it took about 45 minutes, with one coffee break; because I got frustrated with the hex nuts on the corners. Once I realized that they needed to be inserted into the corner brackets with the LIP of the nut facing me - rather than having the lip inside the structure - it was smooth sailing.

This box spring frame took hours to put together as provided tools did not fit screws. Not long after putting it all together and sleeping on it, I noticed a chemical smell which I thought was near or on my side. Then my husband noticed it when he came in room. It is giving me a headache and I have Cancer and spend a lot of time in bed. I do not know what to do.
