I was so hesitant to get a "build your own" foundation but needed exactly a 7" twin and choices were limited. These were priced well, arrived fast and were surprisingly easy to put together. Instructions were great, all hardware was there, and took about 10 minutes to assemble w/ 2 people, one of them being myself and I don't really add a whole lot of value to these processes. Bought this metal box spring to use with our existing, traditional bed frame and a memory foam mattress. Works exactly as needed. Wasn’t too difficult to assemble and took about 30 minutes by myself. We’ve been using it for a few months and have had no real issues with it. It doesn’t squeak, is very solid, and is the correct fit for our queen size frame and mattress. It does slide on the frame (wooden) pretty easily when no one is on the bed, so I may add some type of grippy strips to the bottom to help. The cover fit over easily, it I wish it had grip of some type on the bottom to stop the sliding. I didn’t feel like that one minor issue deserved to have any stars removed though. Actually it’s not bad. I really wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s easy to put together and gets the job done. Only complaint is that in one area I need to mess with the screws because it kinda makes a squeak sound which is the only reason why I took off a star but honestly you can’t beat the price so over all it’s definitely worth it. Easy to set up. Not sure what this marking on the fabric is for. I'll have to see if I can scrub that off. So far no noise and seems to be sturdy.
