This assembly is fairly straightforward and went together easily. I did use a 4mm hex bit in my drill which saves time vs the small Allen key they supply. Assembled frame seems solid. Having said that, the 3500 lb weight rating is likely complete nonsense in real world use. I'm guessing this rating was obtained by putting the box frame on solid ground and placing evenly distributed weight across the top. In this type of test, I'd imagine the box would not collapse. But, when placed in a bed frame where it's only supported on two sides I can believe the people who have seen this sag with considerably less weight. To be safe, I added side-to-side slats under this box frame with a center down support (see pic). I think this is the only way to prevent eventual sagging in the middle.

Easy assembly until we got to the bolts... Bolts and nuts do not fit easily together. It took hours. Box spring seems pretty sturdy and fits great with our bed. However, one nut is still not paired with one of the bolts. Couldn't fit it after hours of trying. Maybe we'll try later! lol

Shipping was fast. We live in rural area that normally adds a day to shipping times. Nice to recieve it quickly😃. It took me allmost 1hr to assemble. I'm pretty handy when it comes to building things. Some single use tools are supplied. I used screw gun hex head driver and 10mm wrench. Would take longer using supplied tools but they would work. Directions were easy to follow. Quality is decent metal very solid. Measurements were spot on and looks very nice with the supplied cover on it👍. Good value for$. I noticed the more costly ones had 3step set up looked very easy if your not real handy maybe go that route and save some headache/time. Overall were happy with the product.

I purchased this about 10 months ago. It was easy to assemble and was sufficient for my needs. However it is now broken. The metal that supports the frame broke at the head and foot of the bed and it is as of my bed is trying to fold in the middle. One end broke about 2 months in and I turned it so the broken end was at the foot and a couple of weeks ago the other end broke. Save your money as this is not a well made product.
