I've been a wood worker for over 40 years and have had numerous feather boards and anti-kick back devices. This one by far is the best... well constructed, the high density foam fingers are replaceable and you can buy them directly from the manufacturer. It's ridiculously easy to setup and adjust the tension against the board, so you'll be not likely bypass using it because it's a hassle. I wish that I had it 3 weeks ago, before my abdomen "ate" the kickback of a 3/4" birch board I was ripping, and I have a perfect tattoo of the board's end. I said in my review headline that's its cheaper than an ER visit.. I wasn't kidding, my insurance co-pay was $150. I bought this after being checked for internal injuries, I was dang lucky this go around... lesson learned. ... show more

The device is as advertised and works well as a feather board, but it is the anti-kickback design which makes it a worthwhile safety purchase. The foam material used as the feather board is soft and pliable enough to easily push a cut piece by it but will not allow the board to travel in the opposite direction towards the user. ... show more

    • Simple to use and seems to work great so far. The clamps work very well, too.
I like how quickly you can get the feather board into the table saw grooves and fasten it down. The foam they use (instead of plastic for example) seems to give just the right pressure on the wood.

First featherboard ever and I’m glad I got this one. Was sold after watching some performance comparisons on YouTube. Properly installed these dramatically improve the safety and quality / consistency of cut and add a few seconds of setup time. No-brainer. Won’t shatter like the hard plastic ones and actually provides resistance to kickback. Will order more things in time from this company. Great design. Very happy. ... show more

    • Great safety accessory for the table saw
I've seen numerous content creators praise this, and after finally using one, I get the hype. This is really easy to set up, and the structure of the foam feathers has a grip against kickback that needs to be felt to be believed. My first project for this was ripping some plywood sections in half at a 45 degree angle to create French cleats, and it did an awesome job not only preventing kickback but also keeping the boards flush against the fence. I can't recommend this enough if you do any work with longer boards on the table saw, and I'm looking forward to also trying this out on my router table. ... show more
