Fabric on body of shirt is very thin, "thermal sleeves" are more like waffle pattern, don't really hold body heat in very well, however, it seems well made, fabric is good quality. Don't think I'd call this a sweatshirt because it won't help you very much in cold weather, unless you use it for layering. But perfect for cool spring or fall days. This was purchased for a very fussy brother in law who is also very hard to fit due to size and height. The fabric is strong and sturdy. The items seems to have held it's shape after washings and tossing the item around after use. Longg enough to cover the abdomen and rear area and the bottom seems to taper in somewhat although this did not make the item tighter, it just helped slim the product to reduce some of the bulk. ... show more

I love this sweatshirt. In southern California we don't get many sweater days so it's really important to have a good one when the time comes and this one fits the bill. Very large and so comfortable. If you're reading this stop researching and buy the thing.
