I only really use this with ice water as I typically use it for working out or playing golf, but let me tell you it keeps ice water cold (I mean really cold) all day long. Like you can fill it with ice water and 5 hours later there's still ice in it! I would highly recommend it for anyone that goes to the gym, golfs, hiking etc. basically any outdoor activity. I have a smaller Hydro Flask with a straw lid that is good for in the car but this one holds 32 ounces so lasts longer during the day. It’s leak proof and with the handle lid it’s easy to carry. And surprise, my other straw lid fits this bottle as well and I have an extra (longer) straw that will work for this if I prefer drinking from the straw rather than the open bottle. ... show more

I purchased this for my daughter, whose apartment has a plumbing issue, with sewerage water been released in the house. There is nowhere she can go in her floor level, and when I asked her if there was anything I could do, she asked for a 64 oz hydro flask, so she can fill it up with fewer trips downstairs to the kitchen. Both of us love Hydro Flasks, because of their ability to stay cold for hours (days), and not leak. She lives in AZ, where keeping her water cold for the day is crucial for her, as she gets dehydrated easily, and is always on the go at AZ University. I’m not in such a demanding environment, but I still take my Hydro Flask everywhere with me. I got this for a replacement for my Nalgene after dropping and breaking it. I should have got this from the get go, not only does it not break since it's aluminum but it keeps your water COLD. I looked at so many bottles and could not decide on one. I thought hydroflask was hyped for no reason so I avoided it for a long time. The reason I chose hydroflask is because I have tried cheap companies before and they all leave a metallic taste in the mouth so I wanted to go with a trusted brand. But the main reason is because the handle is comfy. If you want to hold a bottle around on a hot summer day, you want it to be comfortable and hydroflask’s handle is just that! I brought this with off-roading on a UTV in AZ and it stayed cold. Almost got heat stroke twice on a hot track day and my water stayed colds me saved me. Went to the pool. The bottle got soooo hot on the outside but water was cold! I love this bottle and I have zero complaints.
