After reading quite a bit about different 2000 watt pure sine wave inverters I chose this one, and I am not disappointed. I made the choice mainly due to some of the positive reviews as well as the inverter's display is located on a wired remote control instead of on the device which resides in a side bin. Another real plus is that it has a blue tooth app to access it as well. I ran quite a few tests once installed and it worked flawlessly up to 1900 watts. 1) I bought a BV-imverter-2000 with BT pure sine wave and Bluetooth range was too short. It was about 1/2 Range of Renogy and 1/3 Range of Victron. 2) App and physical display didn't show usage watts after continuing use for hours. It will show again when I was completely disconnect the inverter with the battery and reconnect it. It will still repeat an issue again on more than hours use. 3) Customer support is good. They are quick response but company isn't solve this issue. They sent replacement and the issue is still the same. I gave 3* because of good CS. 4) I decided to keep it. When I want to know watts usages, I need to use this formular to get watts Watts = Voltages × Current.

The media could not be loaded. Update: BougeRV refunded the full cost of this purchase and didn't require a return. so I would do business with this company again. The support process was a bit slow, with each email taking a day or two for a response. But that's probably the best you can hope for when buying a Chinese inverter. I would have been willing to try a replacement, but the company did not offer one and it wasn't clear if this was an isolated failure or a problem affecting multiple units. I found reports of similar symptoms on a different model from this company as well as one from another company. Could be from the same factory, or perhaps an occasional flaw in a common chip. It seems there are a huge number of inverter brands from China. BougeRV is a bit ahead of the pack with certain details, like DC terminal studs that are actually adequate size. They all include undersized DC cables. The 4/0 cables that I bought for this unit cost $100, and it just doesn't make sense to include that with the inverter when you might need a different length. So just accept that you'll need to replace the cables if you're going to run full power. Also consider grounding carefully when buying this type of inverter. For safety NEC requires the neutral and ground to be bonded on the output of the inverter in most situations, but many of these inverters will be damaged if you do so. It's rare to find this mentioned in a manual. Original Review: This inverter won't maintain a stable voltage at lower power levels. It will dip to a lower output voltage every 6 seconds, with the effect lasting about 3 seconds. Mine is stable at 52 watts, unstable around 106, and stable again at 127. My refrigerator pulls about 104 watts, so this isn't just a minor annoyance. There's nothing in the manual or specifications about this. I'm an electrical engineer with decades of experience, and this is what we call a defect. Apparently another reviewer saw a similar problem, so it looks like a design issue.

Alarm goes off anytime battery voltage gets below 11.5, and then only returns to normal ops after battery gets back up to 12.4 volts. However, under normal load, batteries may run under 12 volts at some point when a compressor kicks on. So the alarm never turns off when I'm using this, and there is no way to adjust this.
