I purchased it to power the travel trailer we purchased that had a 12volt only fridg. We found out the hard way, that doesn’t fly with just 1 acid deep cycle provided with the new trailer (we’re told “most” T. Trailers are equipped with these now). Sure seams like they should be sold “with” a solar panel installed already wouldn’t ya think? Anyway did a lot of research and found my Bouge panel was the best priced for a 200 watt panel (my minimum), and they’d answer all your questions via email promptly. Which I found to be true, thank you! It won’t come with any mounting brackets so be aware of that. I did order a set afterwards on a 2nd order but returned them as I found a much better way to mount mine viewing a you tube video where a guy used unistrut bars mounted to the roof separately, then affixed the panel to those by rigging up some joist hanger materials together to actually raise the panel off the roof by 3.5” clear. This gives me better access to clean underneath it, AND my 30 amp fuse is right at the pre-wired factory installed roof connection underneath my selected location for the panel. This way I can access it anytime without disturbing the seals of the unistrut base. Just 4 bolts to pull and the panels free to remove if necessary. The panel as mentioned is 200 watts with the 9BB that gets it there. Research that detail to learn why it’s important on any given panel size, It’s been keeping my 100 AH Lithium battery at 100% charge, 100% of the time. I could not be happier.

UPDATE: I got contacted after the initial review by a BougeRV Tech Support rep, Samyi. He was very responsive and worked with me to check the panel manufacturing date and the efficiency. Both seem to be within acceptable ranges and I can get an average of 70% power output (flash to 100%) to charge my power station on an sunnyday. Samyi also offered a partial refund for the cosmetic imperfections on the panel with full warranty coverage since I can still use the panel in acceptable condition, which I thought it was fair. I appreciated the great customer service Samyi provided so I'm increasing my stars rating. Excellent customer services. would buy from this vendor again. Original: I received the solar panel today in very good box designed to protect the panel. And the box had no damage on the outside. The packing materials are all in good condition. After unpacking the box and examining the solar panel there is a major damage on one of the corner of the solar panel. Since the box and packing materials were in good shape it must be quality control from factory. There are few other bents on the aluminum frame too. Attached pictures will say it all. Solar panel seem well-built but will test it in next few days.

Under the right conditions, I've seen 102W going into my EcoFlow River 2 from my 100W BougeRV panel. Most of the time, I'll get between 75-85W in direct sunlight and it'll still pull 30-40 when cloudy. The key is to have a perfectly clear day and get the panel directly facing the sun. Use/make a solar angle tool to ensure the panel is as square to the sun as you can for optimum results. The panel itself is well constructed and relatively light considering the construction. The 100W panels are slightly smaller than competing 100W panels which makes them a bit easier to transport as well. I currently just store my panels in the house or garage and pull them out when I want to charge my portable power stations.

The kit gives you the basics to get started on a relatively inexpensive system. There is plenty of wire to make connections on a travel trailer or camper. You'll need accessories such as a cut-off switch between panel and charge controller, tape or fasteners and caulking for the mounts, shrink tape for the wire connectors. Panel arrived broken. BougeRV customer support rushed a new panel to me, no question asked. Communication with them was very easy and they took care of the problem super quick. They also followed up to make sure everything was OK. Once we got the new solar panel, first thing I did was to put it in the sun and run it through its paces. At noon, it put out over 350 watts. I am very happy with the panel.
