I got these cable to parallel 3 sets of flexible 100 watt solar panels. Because of the voltage limitations Goal Zero places on their new MPPT charge controllers (50 - 60 volts I think), I have to wire 600 watts in 3 sets of 200 watts. That will at least get the voltage up a little and pull down the amperage a bit. This 3 way connector set is just what I need to make the parallel connections. The amp rating of 30 should be more that enough to handle the output of my panels. I’ll update my review when I actually get my new GZ and get my panels wired. ... show more

    • More user-friendly in tight spaces than T branch connectors

The extra length of these cable branch connectors makes it much easier to connect my deck mounted solar panels than when using T style connectors. Not having the connections right next to each other makes it easier to disconnect individual cables as well.
