Works great! anyone who gave this a bad review either got a dud which happens on any manufacturing line. Or they don't understand that this is intended as a fridge not a cooler if you put room temp drinks in there by themselves it will take some time to cool them, unless you have allot of other cold things in there already ( thermal mass ) . I work out of my truck primarily. I bought this to keep all my food and drinks cool and a bonus of having solid ice . I bought the battery pack to go with it. And I also run a solar panel on top of my truck. So far even on cloudy days I havent ran below 60% battery working 8- 10 hrs and on sunny days the battery stays fully charged. It honestly is a monster size wise and I have no need for this much space but I have a family of 5 and it will be perfect for going out for the day and for trips. i will probably be purchasing their smaller unit for more portability. Oh yea forgot to mention it will freeze ice with no problem I put 4 sandwich size bags of water in set it at -4 and it froze all of them solid in about 6 hours. ( on ac power on max setting )

Cooling time: 30 minutes from 80 degrees to 40 degrees (non ECO) Weight: Not very heavy Lids: Latch security Handles: Spring Operated and metal, which I was expecting plastic, nice plus. Battery: Does not come with the unit, sold separately, but it slides in great but upside down if you are looking at the label so just know that. Handle for pulling: Has two locks, one on each side, securely locks in place App: There was a QR code on the cooler taking me to the right one to download. App was easy enough to connect to and control the unit. Wasn't planning to use the app, but it came by default using Celsius. There is a way in the instructions to change from C to F but it is not intuitive, you need to read the instructions to do it. App just makes it easier.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I Heard really good things about this product. Functionality: Works great, will freeze water to make ice in no time. Cooling ability: Really does a good job. I am very pleased. Noise level: It's very quiet. Size: It's the perfect size for my boat. The small side of the unit is pretty small, but it works for our purposes. Value for money: I think it's a good value for the money. My favorite thing is I don't have to fool with ice anymore.

Always wanted and been eyeing this cooler for a while now. After reading and researching, I finally pulled the trigger to purchase it and I am glad I did. The controls are very intuitive and built with quality. I didn’t buy the battery because I have a external battery that I am planning to use it with but I’ll buy the battery next time for this cooler so I dont have to carry an extra battery. The only wish I have is the layout of the storage could have been better designed so I can put a wider or bigger things inside. But overall, it worked great!

Fabulous cooler! Plug it in, stock it up and load it into truck. We purchased this cooler because we lost the fridge in our camper last minute and needed an alternative. This did not disappoint us at all. It kept temp for the 4 days we were at the campground without a hitch. Easy to load into truck and access. The ability to flip the doors was quite handy (the little things lol) The app is easy to use but as a heads up... only one person can access app at a time. No big deal, just a surprise. We did purchase the external battery backup and good thing we did. The cooler doesn't like it when you unplug from one source to another (switching cords). The digital display turns to 1 and there is no indication anywhere as to why. I can see us using this for day trips or long weekend outings no doubt. It is quiet and takes up no more space than a normal cooler. No mess to clean or drain and worth every dime we spent!

We took this camping and it worked...ok. In 90-degree heat it kept our food 'cold'. Not sure how cold, because I don't trust the temperature probes, but items in the freezer remained rock-hard the entire trip which was fantastic. As another user mentioned, one thing that was very strange... If the power drops, ie you switch from the car DC to an AC hookup, the temperature 'resets'. The screen will read 0 degrees for both sides. And the fridge will slowly start climbing back up. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 all the way up to 34 degrees before it stabilizes again. (about an hour) - Is my food just warming up during this time? - Why does this happen? At a bare minimum, this is a software bug. However, when we got home, I left it connected indefinitely. And sure enough, sometimes when I check the screen, it's well below my setting of 33 or 34 degrees. This is connected to grid power with no outages mind you... (see pics, I have NEVER put the fridge side below 33 degrees, and sometimes it'll just read 0, in the middle of the day) One time the freezer went to -8 with the fridge rising all the way to 46?? Did the coils freeze? It was inside in a controlled environment...kinda suspect if you ask me. At a bare minimum it needs a firmware update. Not sure if the compressor chokes and causes a crash, or the software itself has a memory leak. But it seems to 'reboot' randomly. Not something I want to trust my health to, that's for sure. For the price, it's amazing. 1/3 the cost of a Dometic. The energy use in my basement ends up being around 260Wh/day, which is fantastic. I could run this indefinitely off a single solar panel and ~500Wh battery, which is great. But I'm still on the fence about keeping it. It's definitely a work-in-progress at this time.
