update: I gave 2 more stars for customers service, they reached out and let me know they would check into the voc problem, which is the strong smell. I also uploaded a picture of all the pieces except the 2 big side pieces. All the pieces but 17 stopped smelling, after taking them outside, on day 13 . The amount of pieces is a lot but the reason for that is more supports . There is 15 support pieces, 30 drawer pieces, 5 pieces per drawer and 7 pieces make up the cabinet for the drawers. I have health problems so I needed a dresser with no voc and I needed a dresser that would fit in a small area , I thought after reading this【Premium Material】 The bedroom chest of drawers is made of stable and sturdy engineered wood, with a matte, eco-friendly paint surface ), and the size was right ,so I would buy it. I received this dresser and when I opened the box I got a horrible smell and a headache within minutes. I thought maybe most of the smell was the box because eco paint has no smell and no voc. I pulled all the pieces out and put them in an extra bedroom opened the window put baking soda and coffee in containers and the next morning the hallway outside the closed room stunk so bad that I decided to take all 52 pieces outside. I have an air purifier with charcoal filter rated for a 3600 sq ft room so after leaving the pieces outside for 10 hrs I brought them in put them in the dining room and put the purifier in the middle of all the wood , then went upstairs to bed the next morning I could smell the pieces as soon as I opened my bedroom door , which is upstairs and 3 rooms away from where they were at. I have done this same routine for 12 days so far and the smell has lessen but I still smell it before I hit the room they are in.I also get a headache ,stuffy nose and sore throat before I can get the 52 pieces outside and I'm not the only one my daughter and granddaughter got a headache one morning when they stopped by before I had gotten them outside. Before they had non voc paint , when everyone painted rooms with voc paint , I have never had to air out an entire room more then 2 days for the smell to begone, I can't imagine what this was painted with when it has been outside for 10 to 11 hours for the last 12 days and still smells and worse still causes headache. I really should return it but since it is the right size I need, I'm going to keep taking the pieces outside for a few more days but after that if nothing changes its going back. ... show more

It is a very nice dresser and very sturdy. The problem is the chemical smell. I put this together and the smell has not gone away in 3 weeks. It has made a couple people sick so we had to move to the garage with clothes and bedroom all covered in very bad chemical smell that is terrible. Trust me and do not buy this dresser. I thought other people were exaggerating in their reviews but now I know they had same problem I do now! The dresser is put together and box has been thrown away so little chance of returning! ... show more

Great size for my office since I wanted to keep my craft table and add a pull-out sofa. Assembly did take 2 of us and about 3 hours but directions were clear and parts were all there.
