This lightweight and compact 1.2 Gallon compressor has a high-output oil-free, maintenance-free pump that delivers 2.8 SCFM @ 90 PSI and a maximum tank storage pressure of 150 PSI. It is ideal for use with finish nailers and staplers for applications such as installing trim, baseboard, door frames, cabinets, or window casings. Jun 5, 2013, was my purchase date, and it's now April of 2025. This compressor continues to perform without fail. I don't know why I didn't provide a review before. Sorry that it's discontinued. I'll post some photos to show how I keep it in its place on the bench. All parts are serviceable and pretty accessible. I would 100% Recommend this small yet powerful bench top air compressor. I keep it in place with some wood screws put in the bench just to keep it from walking around. No reservations at all, Bring it back, it's excellent. ... show more

We believe this is a good product and would recommend it to others it run several things and works well for under emergency circumstances inflating many items for us We bought this AIRCAT 1055-TH Compact 1/2" Impact, Small, Grey sold an Amazon here's the link https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00URRB9JW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 We use this tank in this impact gun to remove the Lugnuts on our car Nissan midsize truck we have no problems we don't do it daily for shop but we have no problems if we need to change the tire with it at all when changing the tire the tank runs from time to time but has no problems taking the Lugnuts off and tightening back up We fill up a bike tires car tires but many people use nitrogen in the car so emergency purposes this would work, Soccerball football kids toys and stuff like that the compressor works well for, The impact gun which we use or talked about above we just use it if we got a flat and we had to change the tire on the cars we're not saying we would use this daily in the shop. If you're trying to change a tractor or 18 wheeler or really large loader or some heavy industrial equipment this definitely won't work. It works well for us on passenger cars and light duty trucks.     • Great little compressor...until it broke after less than one year
I use this to run staplers and trim nailers at 90 - 100 PSI. Yes, the tank is small and recharges often - but it recharges quickly, and because the compressor cuts in at 125 PSI and takes it back up to 150 it stays well above my operating pressure so there's no issue with the last few nails not driving in all the way. And that small tank makes it very lightweight and portable. It's not super-quiet, but that's a fair tradeoff for the extra power. It's well laid out, cord and tool storage and a housing that protects the gauges and motor. Couldn't be happier! UPDATE March 2015: The motor has a cast aluminum frame that bolts it to the chassis. Apparently one of the flanges broke off, leaving unusual pressure on the others which also broke or came loose. None of this was visible or obvious because the plastic housing hides everything. I drilled some holes in the remaining part of the motor frame and reattached to the chassis - worked for another few months but broke again. Patched it back together again, and it broke again - just too much vibration and pressure on the motor frame for a backyard repair to be effective. Too bad - the motor runs like a champ and the compressor has given me a lot of good service, but I can't take a chance that the fourth breakdown will come in the middle of a big job so I am replacing it with something else. ... show more

    • Very decent weight wise, not so great capacity.
I needed something lighter to carry around and blow out PCs in my son's school. Last time I brought my heavy duty 'beast' of a compressor and parked the thing by the door and carried the PCs to the door and blew them out. My 'decent' compressor is loud as heck (definite ear plugs, and no way you can even yell/talk within 20 feet). Now that compresor will run 3 roofing guns at hte same time, but it will pop a circuit breaker if you look funy at it and the thing weighs about 80 pounds and is leathal in a car... So I went searching for something very light I could carry around (and not hate it). Compressed air from a cpompressor is unbeliveably effective at cleaning out dust from any equipment (PCs of course). I picked this one as it has a pretty high SCFM rating VS the weight and amps of the device. The problem with this compressor (for my use) is in reality it will do a 'blast' of 90-100PSI air for about 3 seconds before it falls low enough to kick on the compressor. In reality I need about 60 seconds all told, and that means waiting about 20 times while the compressor builds up pressure after the 3 second blast. The fact that it is a "50%" duty cycle means it really needs to cool down after a few minutes of running. So I would take apart a desktop PC, blast it out partially, wait for the compressor top cycle and build up pressure, then repeat. This took about 20 times, so the 30seconds to 1 minute to build up pressure (depending on how much air I used) meant the process took 20 minutes instead of 2 minutes with my heavy duty comperssor. It also meant I felt I should give it a 'rest' between PCs of that 20 minutes, so the blow out project took a couple of hours. In the past I could have done one machine after the other, so 10 PCs would have taken about 20 minutes. I did 5 PCs and it took a couple of hours. So, for an individual PC cleanout (or laptop cleanout) it was fine, but doing them in succession meant a lot of waiting. I had other stuff to do, but it was a PITA. I have no idea yet on durability, it was only that one project do far (and partial at that). It will take time to see if this lasts or not. It was what I expected, and for the short 90-100PSI bursts it is exactly what I hoped for. For a single event it's fine and while taking a bit longer (having to clean in cycles) it is still decent. A comparison: when I carry a PC down to my basement and clean it out I blast it and don't stop till I am done. It takes about 2-3 minutes (then I run away from the diust cloud!). ... show more
