The Boss Captain's Chair In Black Vinyl W/ Casters features a rich mahogany frame color with an easy to clean black vinyl upholstery. The 24" W x 26" D x 31" H chair is made using a sturdy frame and manufactured by Boss Office Products. Weighing just 31 pounds, the lightweight seat accommodates as much weight at 250 pounds. The spring seat keeps the chair from sagging when sat in and the hand applied individual brass nail head trim adds a decorative touch. This seat is sold with casters; however, users are welcome to get model B9540, which does not have casters.

We ordered 8 of these chairs to replace some well worn chairs in the bar area of our American Legion Post. I was a bit nervous with the low price point because we needed some chairs that would stand up to heavy use. Assembly was required but it was not very difficult and the chairs were put together by myself in about 3 hours. One of the chairs had a manufacturing flaw in on the armrest, where the finish was not applied at the factory and there was a 2 inch square bare spot on the inside of the leg. I packed it up and returned it to Amazon and we had a replacement within a week. So far, the chairs are holding up well and we have received quite a few customer compliments on the comfort and look of the new chairs. These are not what I would call "fine furniture" but they look good and seem to hold up well. I would recommend these for waiting rooms, and other commercial applications. After doing a lot of research on rolling chairs, we decided on this chair for my 92 year old father to be able to move himself to the table and also to replace his standard rolling desk chair at his desk. This is easy to assemble and has very nice finishes and fabric. We were looking for a rolling chair that was more stable then a standard desk chair. I bought these to replace dining room chairs. Was looking for stable chairs with casters and arms to make it easier for elderly to independently scoot up to and away from the table. These fit the bill. These go well with our round table. These are easy for one old lady (me) to assemble without help. Ordered these two captain chairs for my disabled brother. Since October every time his sits down a tack comes out of the base of the chair. In one of the photos you can see the tack on the ground waiting to be stepped on and in someones foot! Not good construction. I have written to the company since I never realized they could not be returned when I purchased them and waiting to hear from them.     • Decent with some flaws
I bought this chair because our desk is in our huge living room and not in an office setting. I wanted a chair that was attractive and fit with our living room. Here are the things that I like about the chair- Overall it is a good looking chair. I like the rivets and it closely matches that of the picture. The quality is decent for the price and its nice it has wheels. Not overall to shabby in the comfort department either. assembly was easy things that I dont like about this chair: 1) Maybe this was an odd choice for a desk. at least a smaller desk. The desk that I have is on the small side but fairly standard I think. This chair is a lot bigger than I thought it was. It makes the desk look way smaller than it is. It is a big chair. i didnt realize how big it was. 2) You have to sit all the way in the back of the chair because the cushion is so bubbly. maybe in time it will flatten, but it is pretty firm and raised at this point. its weird to sit on the edge. 3) It came with nicks and scratched and I need to get a cosmetic wood pen or marker to color over where the wood is flawed. I hate when this happens. the package was not damaged so I can only assume the wood part of the product is on the cheap side. not worth my time to return you know? rather dissapointing. I would have picked a different chair to be honest, but it isnt going to offend me to have it in my home. i am slightly torn either way and I just dont care enough to find another more suited for me. Went together easily. Did break a screw cap but they include an extra so all is good. Instructions were OK, not great but OK. I did have to infer from pictures but it was all there. Super cushy seat. Feels sturdy. Guests have loved them (I bought 2). Wheels are fantastic - I can roll across the room seated with just a single push. Would happily buy again. Might end up buying another pair next month if I can figure where to fit them in. ... show more

I received someone else's return, it was evident from the box and there was a label on the box that was covered. When I removed the tape, it said RETURN. I put it together anyway and it was missing one screw, which I found a replacement for in my own stash. The chair is nice and in good condition. It rolls pretty smoothly, too.
