This is a great purchase. Have a professional install it and it will work like a charm. My subwoofer delivers continuous power when used and I’ve had no issues with the Apple car play. The Apple car play is based through the cord in the back on the radio so ask them to plug your charger onto the USB adapter and have them to run it under the dash board so you can connect your phone and utilize all the Apple car play features. The screen is about as sensitive as your iPhones so no need to jab the screen every time you want to press a button. The only thing that has me curious about this radio is that the EQ is all in Hertz (HZ or MHZ) so you would need knowledge of which line is for bass, treble, etc. overall great quality radio. Microphone is awesome I have it attached right about my steering wheel. When I talk to people through the radio there are no clarity issues. Giving voice commands is easy. Radio is able to read incoming messages and you can verbally respond and send. ... show more

I bought this to replace an 11 year old Pioneer radio in my Nissan Xterra. It was a super easy install using an installation kit and wiring harness. This radio looks great and works well too. The operation is straightforward with plenty options but not to the point of being overwhelmed.

This is a great radio for the price. The radio arrived overnight And took about an hour to install. The quality of the radio is up there with more expensive brands. All of the features seem to work well, including Apple CarPlay, the touchscreen and all of the buttons. The radio only goes up to 50 which I found to be a little strange and felt that the radio could be louder, but overall it Works for me. The microphone that comes with the radio for Hands-free calling also seems to work well. I have made several calls using it. I installed a 1999 Dodge ram 2500 Cummins pick up truck. I would recommend this. I bought several cheaper Chinese radios that didn’t fit or just seem to be downright cheap. This option was the best value for me. ... show more

I've had a cheap aftermarket unit for a couple of yuears and it died. to install the boss unit, i reused the generic wiring harness and the stock stereo's metal plates (BEnd the tabs flat !. it sits more recessed than i like and will need some spacers but i didnt expect flawless fit. I purchased this stereo twice. The first time it was professionally installed and did not turn on. Hoping the first failure was just bad luck, I purchased a second. Unfortunately, both units had the exact same issue: they wouldn’t power on at all. The wiring and power supply were checked, rechecked, and confirmed correct each time. From what I’ve seen of it working with others, the feature set on paper looks great — Apple CarPlay, touchscreen, Bluetooth, and a decent design. But none of that matters if the device never even boots up. Having two separate units fail right out of the box is unacceptable for any product, especially something meant to be the centerpiece of a car’s audio system. Got this for my teen for Christmas. Had it professionally installed and everything was great, worked as expected. Now 6 mo the later only the touch screen works, meaning he can’t adjust the volume. He has to use his phone which doesn’t have the same volume level as the device. I’ve reached out to the seller in hopes they will make this right. Everything works as it should, i thought i bought the wireless carplay but guess not it didnt say if it was or was not but either way im happy with my purchase so far what i paid for it it better last me awhile all i gotta say… but i love it!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND but double make sure get the wirless carplay if that’s the reason your getting it too!
