I’m finding this purchase very satisfying. The quality is on par for the price point. Very easy to install and navigate. Everything seems to work as it should. Bluetooth connects quick and the calls sound good. Others say they can hear me fine while on a call without any noise issues. Picture seems to be what you would expect for the cost. I wish it were possible to adjust sound volumes separately. When using the gps, you need to have the volume extra high, which is too loud for normal music level. Can’t win them all. I’d buy again and recommend.

I got this in October 2025. It worked great, sound is good but for the last three weeks it keeps disconnecting from apple car play and its unable to connect to my phone until i stop, shut the car off and restart everything. Its happening every day now. Do not buy this.

Tons of high end features for your money, but it has some quirks you’ll need to work out. I’m having trouble with the radio tuner not being very intuitive or easy to use. The powered antenna isn’t as strong as the stock radio was, so it drops my stations frequently. The fit is great, the wiring instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I like Boss products. This has met or exceeded almost all of my expectations. I’m sure I will figure out the antenna issue eventually. I certainly recommend this unit.

Have had it since December, works pretty darn good, I even figured out a way to get NON-factory aftermarket steering wheel controls to work with it. Very simple and straightforward install, spliced into my 2009 Town & Country without an issue even added an under seat sub woofer. About the only issues I have had is that if you use either usb or sd card for music It won't display what is playing on the Map screen, you can still control volume and skip songs but it won't display title info ( I guess it is because that is the android auto screen) I emailed Boss about it several times and had no response. So most of the time I just use the music app on my phone or I heart radio, It is sad because it makes usb and the sd slot almost useless for me. Biggest issue is it won't stay turned off, when you manually turn it off before shutting off car it always turns itself back on next start. and if you turn it off while engine is running it turns back on if you are trying to work with other un-related bluetooth devices with your phone eg. trying to access standalone dash cam kept overriding and turning on stereo.

BOSS BE920WCPA-C ***** I am not one to run to the internet any time I have a bad experience with a product, but I believe this time it is justified. I will do my best to keep my emotions out of this review, with that said; there are MANY hours of work to install this product to then spend hours removing it. ***** This unit has a lot of features to offer and when it worked, they are impressive. ***** Nuisances I found; the first thing that surprised me was at first time use, the unit provided engine speed speaker whistle, like a 1973 Buick. This really took me off guard considering modern technology in what the car has, 2008 Nissan Altima and what BOSS has available to prevent this. In an attempt to rid the engine speed speaker whistle, I installed a dedicated large gauge ground strap from the cars dash frame crossmember to the unit's exterior main body, this did not help. The unit would not toggle thru any preset radio stations, I had saved my local favorite radio stations, but the unit would not recognize them and each time I wanted to go to the next saved preset, I had to bring up the saved list and make a selection. Another nuisance I found was; if the unit was playing anything in the background of Android Auto and the car was shut off while Android Auto was on the display, the next time the car started, the unit would forget what was going on in the background. So, if I had music playing from a SD card or the radio playing in the background of Android Auto with the WAZE app running and shut the car off, the next start-up of the car, the unit would prioritize Android Auto and forget everything else. This required backing out of Android Auto, going into the home screen, and restart whatever was playing last. Another nuisance, each time I wanted to play music from the SD card the unit would restart the playing from the A-Z, always starting with the first artist that began with the letter “A”. ***** My decision to return; the unit would randomly freeze the screen and become 100% bricked and unresponsive. The touchscreen would not work, it would not power off with the power button and the only way to get it to recovery was to pull off the road, shut the car off for several minutes OR keep a paperclip handy to use thru the small pinhole to do a soft-reset. I gave this unit every chance to perform correctly and contacted the manufacturer (BOSS) several times and performed their recommended technical support. In the end none of their recommendations resolved the issue. Thru all of this I lost faith in a replacement and have opted for a return. ***** I opted to give two stars based on the BOSS customer service, they are caring and passionate about helping customers. If I do not receive full credit, I will update and drop the rating to 1 star.
