First off, this unit without the lights or a way to manually switch off lights would have been ideal. Every time I restart truck I need to turn off the lights. Only way to shut down lights is with remote. I might add a small toggle switch on the speaker case to disable the lights unless wanted. The sound is great, but as mentioned in other reviews, it is lacking in bass. I added the Rockville 10" thin woofer and fixed that problem. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073W5PVMP?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details This soundbar has the pre-amp outs, a usb port for device connection and a headphone type jack connection. The similarly sized Boss soundbar that has NO lights also has no pre amp outs which is why I got this one. I just plug in a 128MB flash drive which contains two cd albums and rock away. I think it is a good bang for the buck. The only negative I can mention is that using a flash drive, it will only play consecutively. I likely will need to change over to an mp3 player to play specific albums or to play in a random shuffle. I may do that someday but for now I am pleased. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Man I got all 3 sizes of these Boss speaker bars mounted in my polaris slingshot, And the music is crystal clear even at 70 MPH! My advice if ones not enough you can get a second one and Daisey chain through rca jacks to 3.5mm aux in. Just order the rca to 3.5mm aux cord from amazon and your good to go! I got a 3 way cig lighter adaptor that inserts to the single outlet. Not real bassy but loud as hek! ... show more

Maybe I’m missing something but my colors wouldn’t lock in. It changes colors even though I just wanted red to stay on but all in all the quality, sound and style was good and does the job! The media could not be loaded. Had local steel fabricating company manufacture two upright 1" post that bolt through factory holes just behind the windshield on each side of my 2005 Wrangler. The two 1" post support a longer, bigger diameter horizontal steel tube that's 8" above roll bar, used for the "mounting" tube. Works perfect, simple install, and the sound bar can be easily removed by unbolting mounting bracket...should I ever want to put the hard top on. ... show more

I am picky about audio, but when it came to a speaker system that was going to get wet and beat up in my SxS I figured I should start cheap and see if it lasts. so far, this sound bar has done great. I wash my SxS inside and out with a pressure washer after every ride and this sound bar still works like day one. I always let it dry overnight before powering up any accessories, so that is probably contributing to this working great still. The bluetooth connects automatically and quickly, usually within 3-5 seconds of turning on the key. The audio output is plenty loud and fairly well balanced. doesnt have the 'tin-can' sound that you get from low quality speakers. it has good treble and mid range, and a little bit of bass. (as much bass as you can get from such small speakers) the RGB lights are fun, but you cannot pick a setting and have it rememeber the setting. Every time you power it on and off it goes back to scrolling through different colors. This has become pretty annoying for us, because on any given ride we will stop maybe 10-20 times, and every time you have to change it to the light/color setting you desire. Also NO BUTTON for changing color/lighting mode, it has to be changed from the little remote that is included. When the remote was left behind on one ride, we had to live with the lights flashing in our face the entire ride. We wont make that mistake again, we always double check for the remote now. overall I am impressed with the aluminum construction and mounts, and the sound quality. it feels and performs better than i expected for the brand name and price. The only downfall is the programming of lights and needing the remote to change settings. Overall I would purchase again, and I have recommended this bar to friends. ... show more

This speaker is great. if i could give half stars i’d go 4 1/2 because the sound quality isn’t the greatest i’ve ever heard but for the price you really can’t beat it. if you’re a bass head i’d suggest going another route as this speaker doesn’t offer much. but other than that it’s a great unit and the lights are awesome. i found out in this video that the controller for the speaker also changes the setting of my led whips so that’s why they changed at the same time lol ... show more
