Hi! I have been going to salons and various spas for laser hair removal since 2006. I am almost a hairless wonder. :o) I bought this so I could get the pesky deviants that I have left from my treatments, at home, and without paying hefty fees. I have also had a new, tiny chin hair that drives me nuts and must be stopped at any cause. After doing lots of research, I decided upon a BoSidin device. I used it once and was pleased with the ease of use and the fact that my hair was thinner and finer after one treatment. However, come to the next treatment, and my device quit working. I then contacted BoSidin and they were absolutely, positively amazing at getting back to me AND helping me replace the device with their newer model! #ColorMeImpressed Now, to the new device....I used my new device last night after reading the manual, checking out YouTube videos, and with the help of the email with tips I received from the company, I began my first treatment. It was EASY to perform. It was a lot to take on at first, with allll the information and the different levels and zones, etc, but I was able to pretty easily figure out how to use it. I will say, most of the YouTube videos show people with the SR OR bikini head on, I don't think it'll hurt you if you use the bikini head, but it wasn't meant for that, if you're using it on your face, or anywhere OTHER than your bikini for that matter. When performing the procedure on myself, I felt the same sensations I felt when I got LHR professionally done at other locations. I think this will stand the test of time and work well. All in all, this was pretty easy to figure out, and even easier to use. I like how it came with the safety glasses and the packaging was spot on, for such a pretty and pricey piece of equipment.     • Had High Hopes for This Product, But NO RESULTS YET (Will update)
I bought this product back in January. There was a really good deal on it so I decided to give it a shot. For the record, I am a guy that is using this and never tried any sort of laser hair removal product in my life. Anyway, here is my review of this product after a month of use. The device is super easy to use. I was nervous that I would screw it up, but it's as simple as plugging it in, pressing the button to set what area you will be using the device on (face, hands, legs, armpits, SR). Also make sure to use the included safety goggles to protect your eyes from the bright light. After setup, you can start using the device. It's pretty quiet, you just hear the cooling system on. As others have said, this device can get very hot pretty fast. Bosidin recommended doing a skin test for each area you plan to use the device, testing areas from 1 (lowest strength) to 6 (highest strength). To be honest, I just wanted to use this ASAP so I just started at Level 6 lol. But I had no reaction anyway. It's not painful at that level, but you start to feel the product heat up. It's pretty strong, not painful but you feel the heat for the brief second of each flash. Also, I was honestly concerned at first because the product has this weird somewhat smokey/heat smell to it as it gets hotter. I legit thought it was gonna explode, but it just seems to be normal I guess? I've used it for over a month with no issue so...do with that as you will! As I stated before, I using this as a guy. I really only got it because I wanted to remove my facial hair. I don't enjoy shaving my face because I tend to get acne breakouts and feel it damages my skin to shave. As Bosidin states in the manual, some areas may take up to 4-6 months to see differences. They said men's facial hair is one of these areas, so I will give it time. However, I also use this on my armpits and chest/stomach. While there is no chest/stomach setting, Bosidin told another user that you should use the armpit setting for the chest/stomach. I believe Bosidin said these areas may also take more than 2 months of treatments, so I have yet to see results. Overall, I have not noticed any slowed hair growth on my face, armpits, and chest/stomach after 1 month of use. Bosidin has said it may take a few months for these areas to be completed and I am patient. I also signed up for the FREE 6 month warranty that is included when you buy this item. They give you a card and you need to register through their wesbite, so I may return it in a few months if I see no difference. As I said in the title, I will update this review if I see changes in a few months. If there is any upside, I notice that when I shave my face and use the device directly after, it does feel extra smooth for the day, but it still hasn't slowed facial growth. ... show more

Original review - posted 2/22/20: Let me start by saying that I had purchased a different hair removal device from another brand a while back; but, after many treatments, I was just not seeing much in the way of results. I decided to do some research, and, after reading tons of reviews, comparing & contrasting different brands offering this technology, I determined that BoSidin was the company that not only provided the best results, but, was constantly working to improve their technology. They are working so diligently to put out better & better products that I was a bit confused at first which of the many models was the most recent, and the differences between them. I reached out to the seller, asking for more information about their products. I received a prompt, in-depth description of their three or four most recent models, highlighting the differences between them. I was then told that they were releasing their newest model in a few weeks, which would have different settings for each section of the body, customized to target the type of hair that grows in each area. It would also include the skin regeneration function. Considering I was in the market for the most advanced technology available to ensure the fastest, more thorough results, I was definitely interested. The seller offered to let me know as soon as it was released. About one week ago, I was informed, as promised, that the new model was on sale. I immediately checked it out on Amazon, and was first intrigued by how different it looked from all the other models. This was clearly a whole new generation of OPT technology, it certainly stood out amongst all other devices. As soon as I had the funds together, I placed the order, utilizing an $80 off coupon (nearly every model they offer has applicable coupons). It still seemed like a lot of money to spend, until I thought about how much time and money would be saved down the line if I could permanently rid myself of all my unwanted hair, needing touch ups only every few months or so. The bane of my existence is the endless, tedious grooming that eats up so much of my life. This was worth it, for sure. Well, it arrived today. I have to say, I am already impressed, and I have yet to even try it out. I am so excited I had to go ahead and share my experience with the Amazon world. The product is packaged carefully & securely, no skimping there. The quick start instructions are printed clearly on the left-hand flap right as you take off the box lid. At first I was a bit underwhelmed by the choice of color — deep green & rose gold — but, it certainly helps the device stand out from competitors. The box pictures it in white, which, I might have preferred esthetically; but, I am in this for the results, not what the device itself looks like. It feels sleek and sturdy in my hands, and the rotating head is really going to make a huge difference in terms of comfort and ease of use. No more contorting to reach those elusive spots! The dial that controls the energy level turns so smoothly, and the separate target areas are pictured distinctly below. I cannot wait to give it a whirl, and will update my review after I first try it, and as I progress with my treatments. Update - 3/4/20: I have now completed two treatments of my underarms, as well as a face & neck treatment. This device is incredible! I know it is too soon to expect a lot in the way of results; but, in terms of operation, it is an absolute dream! The revolving head makes it so easy to reach every spot at whatever angle needed to zap those follicles. It is super easy to switch modes and adjust the energy level; in fact, be careful to hold the device lower on the handle during use to ensure you don’t accidentally hit the mode button. The fact that you can keep the ice mode on during treatment really does allow for the most painless experience possible. Once you get used to the sensation, I find it almost soothing! There will occasionally be a particularly intense sting when it zaps a deep follicle with thicker hair, but, I consider it a good thing — finally working on getting it for good now! Who hasn’t suffered through tweezing or waxing, only to have the hairs grow right back? This is much less painful than those temporary solutions; and, as the hairs progressively thin and eventually fall out, the process itself will not only be less painful and take less time, the results will last longer & longer. The treatments don’t take nearly as long as they did with my old device with the nicely-sized window, which comes with an additional, smaller-windowed head for more precise targeting. Once each treatment is completed, you can immediately tell a difference in how smooth your skin feels. If you’re interested in getting rid of your unwanted body hair, and keep it from coming back, this device is the way to go, for sure! I am so happy to have finally found a real solution, and, I can’t wait until I can finally stop wasting so much time grooming, only to have to do it all over again in a matter of days! ... show more

I purchased a similar item from another company. It was absolutely painful at high settings. This item has no pain or sting at all. PROBLEM if your a man,this item is not for you. Instructions state you need to give it 8 weeks. Well after 4 weeks at high settings and following the instructions to the "T",plus a few more treatments I received no benefit. Then I decided to return this item and found out I WAS 1 DAY LATE. BUMMER. But I will say it probably works for women since the type of hair is much different than men. Another impressive attribute with this item, the COMPANY SPARED NO SHORTCUTS in DESIGN, and is far SUPERIOR than anyone else. It is even packaged very regally. There is nothing cheap about this item. Why did I purchase this? Well a competitor on Amazon was advertising "MEN, NEVER SHAVE AGAIN". Being the specs where very similar I opted for this item. In my mind I thought I had 8 weeks to return the item. Finally, before purchasing this item, put it in your list and wait for Amazon to notify you of a discount. Ease to use: (5/5) Everything is very intuitive, especially if you take 1 minute to brief yourself on the manual. Easy to hold: (4/5) Yes, but being head-heavy means if you're trying to maneuver behind your back you will struggle a bit. I wish the weight was distributed more evenly. Ergonomic: (3/5)The head rotates, but it's not a 360 swivel, just two lock on positions - vertical or horizontal. Biggest problem are the two buttons. I personally tend to misclick the mode button while trying to reach behind my back or when doing my sides. It's good that you can enable an autofire mode, but when clicking manually, due to the weird angle the hand ends up in, I tend to accidentally hit the wrong button. Overall the design is nice, and it is clearly a step-up from the competition. However, my biggest gripe is not the ergonomics or the somewhat unwieldy body, it is the lack of results. After 7 weeks my hair continues to grow back. I shave it down as per instructions using a razor, do the whole area using the recommended mode, and yeah, it stings, so I feel something, but 1-2 days later hair is back and stronger than ever. I think all this shaving with a razor is causing my hair to grow back thicker and stronger than ever. According to BoSidin manual, people of my hair type and skin tone see 98% reduction in hair volume in the target area after only 3 sessions. I see no reduction, but rather, and increase in my armpit, stomach, and chest areas. Keep in mind that even with the auto-fire mode it still takes some time to shave the area and then give it a once-over with the laser apparatus. Overall, giving it a 3/5. The product is designed well, I'm just not seeing any results after 7 weeks. Will continue for now, as it said that for men's face it takes about 10 weeks, so hopefully the same timeline applies to my body. I would really like to see some results, because in 1-2 days after treatment my hair grows back stronger and better than ever.     • Initial thoughts - impressive!
I am a hairy woman. This is a very unfortunate fact of life and my hair removal routine is quite literally the bane of my existence. I’m not keen on shaving, waxing is too painful, so I’ve settled on Nair as my hair removal method of choice. I go through a big bottle of the Shower Power variant (as that is the only one strong enough to tackle my various jungles) a month. It is messy and not permanent nor able to be used everywhere (ahem, bikini area, take my advice and don’t try it), but quick and painless, so I make due. Over Christmas I decided to try out one of the handheld IPL laser devices (I used Lillie, but Kenzzi, lux skin, etc are all the same device). I used it on my face to test it for a few weeks and it proved to be ineffective. I am black with medium brown skin and dark hair, so while I don’t have the ideal contrast the device stated it would work for my skin tone and my hair follicles are actually quite prominent against my skin. Well, after 5-6 weeks of use I noticed no change in my facial hair and lost confidence in using the deuce elsewhere. It was also quite painful to use and I don’t have sensitive skin. I decided to look again for an at home device when I came across the Bosidin device. I’m not well versed on the different types of laser technologies, and there is quite a bit of discussion on whether or not this would work on darker skinned people. I decided to try it out as I am almost desperate to get rid of my forests. I have had it for a week now and these are my initial thoughts and impressions. Design - the device is well constructed and packaged very nicely, very Apple-esque. I decided to get the green version and it definitely stands out in my bathroom. The buttons are a lovely brushed brass and the whole thing feels solid, but is not heavy to use. The head is pretty big so it can’t maneuver into tight spaces all that well. The only thing I would change about the design is the placement of the firing button; it is way too easy to accidentally press it, thus turning off the auto-fire mode. The package includes lots of accessories including a Bosidin branded razor. I would have liked to see a dust bag for storage included instead of the razor, as it didn’t give me a close enough shave. I would hazard a guess and say that people who are into hair removal already have their preferred brand of razor, so to me it was a little unnecessary. I store the device in a dust bag from one of my purses. Usage - it is very easy to use. I’ve seen some bad mentions of the manual, the manual was fine to me. There were some grammatical errors but nothing that would prevent you from understanding it. I was ready to go in a few minutes. I started off on my face again, the first time I used setting 2, and after a few flashes went up to 3. I will say that the cooling feature of this device is AMAZING. The metal surface surrounding the laser is pretty big, so you feel more of the cooling effect than you do the heat of the laser. Because of this Bosidin definitely lives up to their claim that the device is painless. It is also very quick when using the auto flash feature, just move it along your skin and in a few minutes you’re done. I started to see regrowth after about 2 days which is normal for me, so the next time I did my face I went up to level 4, which was still painless. I tried out 2 other body areas to test and I have to say that I am impressed with the speed, ease of use, and pain-free operation. The only thing that remains to be seen of course is lasting results. I plan to continue to use this twice a week for 8 weeks, and will come back and update my review. ... show more

    • Disappoint results after using consistently for 11 months.
Update…. I have started second guessing myself As I look at this expensive devise. I really want this to work and wonder if I was doing something incorrectly. I have decided to try it again. So, I have reached out to Bosidin and asked questions that came up after unsuccessful use. 1. Does the SR mode promote hair growth? 2. Can it be used in the same area right after or before the hair removal treatment? 3. How do the different modes change the laser? 4. Does it help the process if you are able to increase the intensity settings more then the user guide recommends? 5. Can you do it too often? 6. Should I use the width of the head as a movement guide? Width - Width - Width 7. If not, what is the recommended measurement of movement? 1/2” - 1/2” or 1/4” - 1/4”? Etc. ?? 8. Is the “too hot” feeling the guide for intensity? Or should we be looking for other signs that would tell us our level of intensity is too high or too low? Once I have answers, I will update here. Both answers and end what I found out I was doing wrong the first time, if anything. I am upping my star rating to 2 stars as they answered my first question in less then 24 hours. First review….. 1 Star and Frustrated I have been using this consistently now for almost a year. I purchased it in January of 2022. I love the concept. I love how easy it is to use. However, I am frustrated that it has not removed the hair in any of the areas that I used it on. I was very careful in using the instructions for bikini line, face, under arms and lower legs below knee. I also used the SR light on my face, upper legs, upper arms and tummy. After following the instructions for frequency and levels for each area for the amount of time, I did not see results. I didn’t give up though. I decided to stop the lower leg on hair removal and the SR light in all areas expect face. I concentrated on bikini, face (jaw line and upper lip) and underarms. These areas were small and did not take much time. It allowed me to slowly increase the levels and the frequency. I have now been at a level 6 in all areas Daily most of the time for over 3 months and have still not achieved hair removal in any area. The hair on my face is light and fine and is the same. It has not lessened. The hair under my arms is darker and does seem it has lessened a bit but is not gone by any means and same for my bikini area. Am I doing something wrong? I paid full price on this unit because I missed the sale at the beginning of the year. I am very disappointed. I have put a lot of time and effort into this process with no results to show for it. ... show more
