Description

The innovation responsible for both the unique appearance and the unparalleled level of performance is Bosch's patented Axial-Glide system. Beyond giving the CM10GD its distinctive profile, Bosch's Axial-Glide system eliminates three key challenges miter saw users have endured since the first slide systems debuted many years ago. While the traditional sliding compound miter saw approach enables users to make wider cross cuts, that system takes up more space and is prone to misalignment and stickiness over time. By replacing the sliding rail system with a hinged or articulating glide arm system - similar to the linkage used in a four-bar suspension design - Bosch created a more compact miter saw that delivers durable precision, remaining true and smooth over time. The Bosch CM10GD 10-Inch Dual Bevel Glide Miter Saw features a powerful 15-Amp, 4, 000-RPM motor with large easy-to-read bevel and miter scales allowing for precise, quick and easy adjustments: 52-Degree Left/60-Degree Right Miter Capacity; 47-Degree Left/47-Degree Right Bevel Capacity with marked detents and roof pitch angles. The tall sliding 4-1/4-Inch fences allow for increased cutting capacity when cutting tall base and crown moulding. With an ergonomic soft-grip ambidextrous trigger handle and a clear lower guard for unobstructed visibility throughout cut, the CM10GD provides maximum comfort for all-day use.

abunda_amazon_reviews Don’t waste your money buying this product. I am a carpenter and i use a lot of bosch tools, lasers, drills, table saw, and many more and I decided to buy new miter saw Bosch. For the past 6 years i have been using Hitachi 10” miter saw, and it has been great, easy to cut and all good. I wanted to try the new Bosch and i regret it on the first day. Its not easy to turn, cut, maneuver with it. A week later the switch for the right bevel broke ( very hard to turn) and now I can’t cut right bevel, and i am back at the old hitachi. I talked to customer service and they said they have service centar but not near me so i have to take it there and lose one working day. That will cost me so much money for a miter saw.. Honestly I expected more from Bosch i thought before putting on market they will review the tool and give it to professionals to try it out. I guess that wasn’t the case. I will never buy Bosch miter saw again!;;Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2018;;1.0 out of 5 stars;;Don’t waste your money buying this product;;Zoran;;;Had to return this one. I saved up for a year to buy it- couldn't wait to get it. SUPER DISAPPOINTED that it doesn't cut straight. Read all the other reviews- they're spot on. I have a specialty stair company and We use this saw daily. Compared to all the other saws that I have used, which are many over the last 37 years, this saw is great! Pros: 1. decent strength in the motor 2. All the functions in front and work well 3. miters past 45* in all direction 4. pivoting slide arm is a great design Cons: 1. I personally like a laser for quick reference, this does not come with one but i purchased a battery operated one and I always seem to be replacing batteries. 2. A bit heavy but this is not a problem for me. 3. Sawdust gets in the mechanism on the rear causing it to not let the angle miter even get to a 45* at times and doesn't always blow out that easy. 4. I run a dust collector to the saw and still it's not very efficient, needs a better design on the chute.;;Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Not perfect but I still feel the best available;;Travelman;;;I needed to upgrade my miter saw so I did a lot of research. Bosch kept coming up in my top tools. I figured at the time for the cost, must be getting a great product tool. Besides weighing an enormous amount and nearly break your back trying to lift it, the miter saw cut accurately, had fluid movement and everything you could want in a miter saw. It does lack a laser guide and for $600, you would think it should have everything. But the worst thing, they use plastic parts for critical pieces. Already on my 2nd saw, which just broke again as they use a plastic knob for bevel adjustments. Not sure what causes it to happen but I guess if something in the 24 inch long arm connecting all the way to the back of saw jams, the plastic knob breaks right off. I am past Amazon's return period, so we will see now how good the warranty service is. But it does have some flaws. First, it works beautifully, right out of the box, its calibrated perfectly. Which means its ready to use. Its an easy set up as well. It cuts very smooth and all of the saw adjustments are in front, (bevels, miters etc), theres no reaching behind for any adjustments. Flaws: from my POV, u need a Gta3800 stand or gravity rise stand to affix this saw to for easier transport around job sites. This saw lacks handles that the previous bosch model had. (Probably due to the moving arms). Those handles made it easy to carry by hand when needed. That is why u would need a stand. Also there is no rail to tie up power cord, so if u need to move it without a stand, you'll probably trip over the cord. Tight miter and bevel settings, plenty of power, I just cannot say enough about it! Only downfall is the dust collection port, but I am happy to shop-vac a bit more for the performance of this saw. I wired a Home Depot Bucket Boss vac to the trigger, housing it in the cabinet below, and removed the trigger safety quite easily, mainly because I was used to holding the guard up with my thumb to better see my cut. It does however, have a velcro strap to wrap cord up, but i feel that was a weak remedy for this particular issue.

I've owned the 12" glide miter for a few years now, but bought this one as a lighter alternative to take to the job site. The only thing I don't like as much is that it doesn't have the slide-out material supports, and the accessory ones you can't buy don't work as a length stop.

Awesomesauce!
This saw is leaps and bounds above my previous Makita 10" slider I have had for the past 17 years. The thumb safety did not work with my old habits.
