  • This really adds a ton of usability to the table saw
Style: Table Saw Stand
Having a portable table saw, I initially thought it would be fine to just sit this on a table when needed. I quickly found out that doesn't work quite as well as expected. Adding this stand really changed the whole usability of the saw. It's now easy to move around, easy to setup and easy to take down. Since it's so easy to move, it also helps with getting it into a storage location quite easily in the garage. Assembly and attachment to the saw was a breeze. The stand is extremely sturdy once it's setup. Quickly fold up the legs and extend the handle when you are finished cutting and the large wheels make this a breeze to move around. ... show more

  • Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
Style: Table Saw Stand
Just arrived this afternoon and just a few minutes after taking it out of the box, it was assembled and ready to go. It's a very heavy duty stand and very well made. It even looks good! Back legs are a little longer than the front which looks strange at first, but it grows on you. I will follow up in a few days after I mount my new Bosch table saw to it. Update,Feb 7, 2013 As simple as it is, it may be one of the best tools I have ever owned. It's rock solid. I mounted my brand new Bosch table saw to this stand and it makes the little saw feel much larger than it actually is. In spite of the way the legs stick out to make it stable, the legs don't get in my way. Would give this stand six stars if I could. Well worth the money. I have used the Bosch gravity stand and it's easy to use, and this one is almost as easy and has a smaller footprint. UPDATE, MID APRIL 2014: Using it since first of the year. I can have my Bosch table saw up and running in just two or three minutes. Takedown is just as quick. Talk about a time saver! On a nice day, I can easily wheel it out the door which gives me much more room. One day it rained when the saw was outside. I had it down and inside in two minutes. UPDATE APPRIL 2015: Still going strong. Not a single issue. Not one. Works as well as it did the day I bought it. Perfect for the small shop. Get Amazon prime and shipping is free! ... show more

  • Easy To Set Up And Very Sturdy

It is light and so easy to set up but once it is set up it is very sturdy. It's very easy to store and takes little space. I am new to wood working but this is one of many Dewalt tools I have added to my garage

  • Affordable Stable Portable Stand.
Style: Table Saw Stand
#1 Well packaged. #2 Easy assemble (*Long legs to rear, label's to front). #3 Brackets, left side clips in place so saw doesn't, right is adjustable to fit your saw. #4 Raise (or lower) Do one side, left or right first, then lift or lower to do other side, not difficult and spring levers seem to work just fine (can't tell if levers are plastic or GRN) time will tell). #5 Extend handle and move around like a hand truck. (Wheels are plastic, similar to my Honda mower which have held up fine). *** Real Question*** Other brand saws I mounted a worm drive Skillsaw Table saw to it buy mounting a 3/4 piece of plywood to the brackets and used u bolts to mount the saw to the plywood. Worked just fine, although I would caution not to over tighten the u-bolts, the tubular frame will collapse easily. I looked at all the designs out there, including DIY plans, Choose this one and am pleased. I keep it in the basement and wheel it out the slider, over threshold, set it up, cut, blow it off and put it away. It was one of the lower priced stands and so far has met my expectations. ... show more

  • Works well for my planer
Style: Table Saw Stand
This works quite well for me, with a couple of minor complaints. Rather than use this for a table saw, I used this to mount a 12" portable planer that I wanted to make more maneuverable around the job site. Given all the rolling stands out there, this seemed like the best option in terms of height, design, and price. I had to attach the planer to a wood platform and then the platform to the mounting rails, but that was pretty easy and straightforward. I now am able to roll the planer around, and up stairs if need be, rather than having to carry it. Also, the lower height of the stand is actually a great height of the planer and allows for feeding and handling boards without bending. My two small complaints are this. The T handle that extends to push and pull the rolling stand is quite narrow, which makes steering and lifting a bit difficult at times. Also, I'm not a big fan of having to lift and hold the tool while you fold, or unfold, the legs on the side with the wheels. The legs and the locking mechanism are designed and made well. But somehow, I'm always a bit uncomfortable holding up the tool with one hand while I move the leg with the other. Maybe I'm a bit spoiled since my miter saw and table saw both have the Bosch gravity rise stands. And maybe the planer weighs a bit more than the average contractor table saw, and that accounts for some of my problems. But, bottom line, I am happy with the stand. It does what I need it to do, and it does it quite well. ... show more

  • Dewalt 7485 8x1/4 blade model - mounting points are in the SAW manual!
Style: Table Saw Stand
I was reading the reviews on people having to drill out the holes to mount the 7485. I was struggling with this too. Then I read the SAW manual and it clearly showed the mounting points. They are NOT the tubular angled holes that the stand manual points out. They are located on the bottom of the rubber feet of the saw in the middle. They use the same bolts provided. It’s perfectly mounted/level and is rock solid. It’s not coming off that stand unless you break it. I just wanted to clear this up for others since I was following the stand guide and hit the same struggles some have shared here. See attached pictures. Otherwise the stand is great. The instruction manual is garbage in terms of how it’s written and the poor pictures. But it’s pretty straightforward even with less than stellar instructions. ... show more
