I ordered these based on their overwhelming popularity. They are more expensive than other options I had but Amazon Prime delivery and good reviews helped me make my decision. I found installation to be more difficult than expected. As some other reviews state the included new clips make fitting the pads into the assembly on my 4Runner impossible. I had remove the new clips and resort to using the existing clips after having removed them already. The pads seem very good so far after 10 days of use, No noise and good breaking. ... show more

I kept warping rotors after installing bigger tires on my truck with gold pads. I upgraded to these ceramic and life is great! Truck stops better than factory now....no more warping rotors! Will buy again!

    • Do not buy.
Purchased for my 2015 4Runner. The rear pads is a hair too big making it very hard to fit but it fits with a tap of a hammer. The issue is the hardware it comes with, the metal sticks out enough rubbing my brand new rotors causing me to replace my brand new rotors again and buying a different set of pads and hardware. I have done over 30 brake jobs and this is the first time using Bosch. I recommend you guys buying a different brand and do it once right. It also squeaks right even after multiple inspection and proper lubricant. Stay away!!!! ... show more

    • Pads themselves are great. Clips, not so much
I have never had as much trouble installing brakes as I did with these Bosch pads. The pads themself are excellent, but the clips that came with them just wouldn't fit. When I compared them to the unworn portions of the clips from the old, the material on the new was noticeably thicker, making things just a hair too tight for the pads to be installed. The pad fit properly and did not make any noise. The only minor (to me) thing was there were no wear indicators (small metal clip that rubs against the rotor when the pads get worn down to near minimum) in the kit. Wear indicators are not always present and are not required for proper operation.
