I was tired of my nail clippers not giving a smooth cut so I purchased this and I love it. Snips through my braid and fluorocarbon leader with ease, I also like that I can cut my tag ends very short and it clips on my belt loop and retracts when I need it. I no longer run into clipper pocketers.

I have purchased 3 Boomerang fishing line cutters. I am an avid fisherman and do not fish a ton. The clippers when needed are always sharp and get the job done. Mine are attached to my ice fishing bibs, tackle boxes and my fishing tool holder on my boat. It's retractable tether keeps it out of the way while fishing and keeps it in one spot so I know where it is when needed. I plan to purchase a few more in the near future!

Granted, combining a nipper and a zinger into one tool isn't exactly like inventing penicillin, but I love this little gadget. Big enough to fit well in the fingers without being clunky, good ergonomics, handy, cuts well. Four stars instead of five because I don't know how long it will hold up or stay sharp, and five-star reviews usually seem fake to me anyway. Seems sturdy, though, and retractor spring feels strong. Liked the first one so much I bought a couple more.
