The materials feel good and the build quality is solid. Armrests are well padded, which is hard to find these days. As others have said, the chair is bigger than it looks. Check the dimensions carefully against what you consider to be a comfortable chair, before you replace with this one. The seat depth on this chair is close to 21 inches, which is a full inch and a half deeper than my other office chairs. I'm 5'11" and it's too deep for me, and I suspect that shorter people won't find this seat to be a good fit - especially if you don't like the lumbar pillow and remove it. The good news is that this chair will accommodate taller/larger dudes. The reclining feature is nice, and the armrests are well designed to move with the reclining. The downside is that there is no "rock" -- that's what you sacrifice to be able to recline. ... show more

So far so good. Chair is very comfortable and I can sit her with my class for hours. The arms feel like if you had to put your full weight on them they will break. I saw some good reviews and some real bad ones. I wanted to give this the benefit of the doubt and I assumed that the negative reviews were only exaggerating. Nope. The cushion for the seat and arms is not that good. I've only had mine for about 2 weeks and it's already getting uncomfortable. I do like that the seat is a bit wide. Another thing is that it doesn't feel sturdy. I feel as if eventually it will fall apart. Do not recommend. ... show more

    • If you game for more than an hour, this is not a comfortable chair.

Initially, I thought this would be comfortable. However, I did not realize how rigid the design was. Once you lock the back in place there is zero movement. That sounds like a good thing at first, but I mean no spring, no rocking, and only the cushion for support. You might as well lean against a wall. The seat has no tilt, only up and down. So if you have a 14 year old spine, you are probably fine, but if you have any spinal compression or disc issues, you will not be able to adjust it. And when you tilt the back, the seat will remain flat and you will slide forward. I do not recommend this chair. Alas. :( ... show more

This chair is a great replacement for my 15+ year old broken high back office chairs. They were worn out. They stopped functioning and providing the support and comfort I needed for gaming and anything else using my PCs. It was very easy to assemble. Love the black and blue combo. It just feels so good with the headrest and lumbar support. Love the reclining functionality. For about 130 bucks this is a good balance of value/comfort. After setting it up I realized how far the seat can recline, and I wished I had bought the upgraded version with foot rest. This backrest goes nearly flat. The arm rests move with the backrest, but are not adjustable otherwise. The arm rest pads are good. The seat pad feels good, like it will stand up for a while. First all the pictures show it has a footrest which it does not. Second only the back reclines, if the seat also reclined it would make it a lot more comfortable, and third there is not much cushion in the seat, fourth the control handles are really hard to reach. This chair looks awesome with my daughter's setup and was incredibly easy to put together. You may question the quality or integrity of the material/chair while advertising an easy setup, but there doesn't seem to be any compromise here. The one feature that I've seen on this chair that I haven't seen elsewhere is the way the armrests flex/bend as you recline - it took me a minute to realize this when assembling as I thought the armrests were the wrong shape/size, I just needed to flex/extend them a bit. ... show more
