Just buy the best which is Kester. Don't worry about your solder connections later as other brands don't work as well. Flows well and quick. Finished solder connection is bright and tight. The Big roll lasts longer.

    • Best solder on amazon, but I wish they'd fix their tape placement
This is legitimately the best solder you can get on amazon. I think it's funny that these ship with a piece of tape over the top for packaging, and the tape always rips off the label when I unpackage it. It made it a bit tricky to make sure I restocked with the same type of solder because I could hardly see the label ... show more

I have used some other solder, probably from China and have to say the it simply didn't have the right composition (sometimes cold or weak solder joints). In contrary, I been using Kester for many years and had always the desired results. So, I switched back to Kester.
