We needed a king bed frame on a budget (for my mother-in-law) and came across this item. We ordered it based on reviews and I have to say we are very pleased. The packaging is all one box, but very heavy (80 lbs). Everything is very neatly packed to maximize the space available. Instructions are pretty clear but once or twice I put something together backwards so it pays to study it. It helps to have two people and best if both have Allen wrenches like the one supplied. I'd recommend a power drill/screwdriver for the 8 screws into the wooden slats. When putting it together, it wasn't square but as we assembled more, we were finally have to adjust the frame to have straight right angles... the secret is don't overtighten anything until you are almost done. Then go back and snug up every bolt when you are sure it's as you want it. It's sturdy and solid once assembled and for the price, a very nice find indeed. The upholstered portions are very well done and it appears to be a resilient fabric that should be easy to wipe clean if something spills. We're glad we got it. ... show more

I put the bed together by myself. Easy to follow instructions- minimalist. I just needed second person for smoother transition just once. The color is nice beige medium tone, with slight gray undertone. I love it and the price is priceless!

I have really been satisfied with my purchase so far. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy enough. My only complaint is there is a slight creaking noise from one side of the frame when I get out of bed (I’ve had the frame for 2 weeks). But laying on the bed, it is totally silent when you toss and turn. It looks great is the headboard is made of a good fabric. Color is just like the picture. ... show more

I love the look of this bed frame, however I do have to be careful with where I put too much weight. There are weak spots in the middle of the frame where the support is not strong enough for any amount of direct weight to be. In my case, it doesn't effect me too much, but if you have kids that like to jump around on the bed, be careful of that lack of sturdiness. ... show more

Nice modern looking bedframe, the only thing is it arrived with a stain that looked to be oil on the footboard so I had to clean it with dawn power wash dish spray and use my upholstery/carpet vacuum cleaner. The headboard is not so sturdy on the tallest level.
